So, whatcha think about this new Owebama campaign slogan?

I think it should actually be:

Fun facts:

The Historical use of "Forward"

Communism
Lenin: “Vpered”

Fascism
Mussolini: “Avanti”

Nazism
Hitler: “Vorwärts!”

Liberalism
Obama: “Forward”

I dont know why they didnt publish the new Owebama slogan on May Day... too obvious? Yeah, release it a day before! Brilliant!

I'm very sure that the alleged intellectual elites of the marxist Left never thought of this when deciding their slogan. No, not at all -it never occurred to them.

Dude, its all about the marketing and most people have the memory of a gnat.
If people haven't figured it out by now they never will.
Well when the liberals have taken this country so far backwards in everything. I guess the only direction out of the shithole is forward.

Of course. How else would you make it palatable for the masses?

Why any sane and logical person would knowingly vote for such a regressive and oppressive political/economic system is beyond me. Altruism is merely the allure; the reality diametric.

If the electorate was really paying attention and actually gave a shit, there is no way in hell this man should be re-elected (let alone elected in the first place).

I agree. The same applies to Willard as well.

If that were the case, a lot of people wouldn't be getting re-elected.

You mean like how the President went out to colleges to scare up support by claiming republicans want to raise their school loan interest rates?

Facts:

-primarily democrats passed the bill in 2007 to reduce the school loan interest rates; they were the majority in the House and Senate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/110th_United_States_Congress)

-bill also included a provision to return to their normal rate 5 years later (aka the summer of 2012)

-manufactured the whole thing as an election issue knowing it would be an election year for 2012

Dirtbags.

I do not see Romney as a marxist, I see him as an opportunist -a business man.

That in no way implies support for him, but I most assuredly would rather give him a chance after these last four miserable years of Owebama since Paul wont make it.

So a state program is the same as a national one Nathan? I find you post funny since you are all about state doing what they want.
you can beat on romney all you want but the ONLY question here is "Do you want obama and all his plans for another 4 years?"

there is no 3rd party candidate that can do anything other than insure obama gets re-elected, like it or not, romney is the answer unless you want obama for 4 more years.

I'm surprised you dare criticize RomneyCare given your states' rights position (which I agree with).

RomneyCare is more than constitutional for Massachusetts, but something like that is not allowable at the federal level.

You should leave that argument off your plate.

You of all people should know that RomneyCare is a State decision -thats their decision you should respect and support as a fan of Amendment X, otherwise you're a fraud.

As an opportunist, I see him align with a very blue state legislature for political survival (like Scott Brown), especially because he is a lukewarm conservative as most are in the northeast. Are you sure you understand the actual diversity that comprises the republican party?

Do you really believe he would enact Obamacare (Federal level, not State) if elected?

Im not sure you actually understand the man. My current view is he will deal with the federal spending as he did with investment capital: cut the budget and try to streamline the gvt. I could be wrong, but that is highly unlikely.

I sure as hell know Owebama wont -look at his pitiful record.

I'm totally fine with RomneyCare being enacted in Mass; they can be as socialist as they like. That's not the point. The point is that the whole concept of RomneyCare is socialist in nature.

diversity in the Republican Party?

Let's see, there's Ron and Rand Paul and then there are the guys who think the State is great and war is good, and then there are the guys who think the State is great and war is great. That's about all they've got for diversity.

If you knew that already, then you wouldnt have raised the issue. More importantly, you havent put forth a single valid reason to support your argument against my explanation of why he voted to enact it.

Im listening.

Your own statement shows a level of diversity in and of itself. Also, do you think that a republican from alabama is the same kind of republican from taxassachusetts? Or oklahoma? Or california?

I would recommend you take more interest in the demographics of populations to understand the strategies involved to form coalitions. Context is always relevant.

That was my point.
