I woke up at like 8 am, woke her up and she told me she needed to be honest. She said I fucked both your friends last night. I dont know why I did it. I punched a hole in the wall because I realized how stupid I was. Then I looked outside no sign of any rain.

Maybe if the government wasn't such a burden to our pocket books we could actually pay full price for shit.

Never mind the true pirating going on around the world. Let's fuck deal with it here at home first.
Bunch of other big sites have been leaving GD too.
we use GoDaddy for about 10 domain names and our small business web hosting. sent them an email when this was all going down stating our intent to leave if they maintained support for SOPA. a small gesture but added to the mix.

two days later GoDaddy changed their tune.

The right is more virtuous than the left. They have twice as many virtues because they have double the standards.

IIRC, they just removed their name from the support list because they got caught. They don't oppose it, in fact they helped create it and received a special exemption because of it.
Good for them.......

SOPA is so vague and potentially treasonous to our daily lives that just about everything said and posted on Wiki could be a violation.

Scary times are ahead if we let but a handful of profiteers have a monopoly over what can and can't be said......constant legal proceedings are one thing (an already ugly thing IMO), but adding in the continual fear of an unauthorized government takeover and hijacking of your domain is even scarier to me.

Media, news, and information, is sort of important fucking business.

But not if you like state run media and want direct government control over what you can/can't know.

I'd like to point something out to you. The internet is completely monitored at all times by the government.

And Kim is dead.

Being monitored sucks.......

but that's massively different than outright censoring.

It's like comparing warranted home searches and wiretaps to warrant-less ones.

And while fatty elder is dead.......fattier minor is now driving the car. Same shit.......different owner.
Good. Hopefully eventually the point gets through the skulls of the politicians who sponsored this abortion.

The point being.......taking money for doing the evil bidding of others is bad.

Sadly, i doubt politicians will ever learn that lesson.......if they haven't after 4,000 years of modern civilization.......I don't think they ever will.
