Cruz vs Mighty Mouse is an awesome fight. Personally, Cruz is a hair boring because he never goes for a finish. He bounces around like a pogo stick and works constantly, but never risks. Mighty mouse is a small guy with lots of speed so I'm going with the upset. I'm hoping his speed can solve the riddle that is Cruz. Johnson will probably fight at flyweight when the UFC starts that division. This will be about Johnson being able to counter the bounciness and take Cruz down and get him there which no one has been able to so far. Probably a 5 round ridiculously fast fight.

Barry vs Struve is a Strike vs BJJ guy, but also david vs goliath. Barry
is 5'11" while struve is 6'11". It's a tough one to call, struve's chin is not strong, but barry's ground game sucks so bad. Barry also recently switched to Lesnar's camp in hopes of gaining better wrestling. Prior to that, I would of picked struve, but I'm going to bet on Barry having enough wrestling to keep it on the feet and KO struve. If struve gets it to the ground, Barry will get choked out quickly.

Charlie Brenneman vs. Anthony Johnson. Charlie is coming off the biggest victory of his life when he upset Rick story on a couple days notice, while Rumble is coming off a booed boring win over Dan Hardy. I think Rumble is the better striker, wrestler and athlete. Charlie is going to hope he's faster, but Rumble is quite athletic. if it goes to the 3rd rnd, Charlie has a good chance, but I think Rumble will tko him in the 1st.

Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman is a battle of non-title contenders who bring a fight. Both have ok standup and good ground. I think Danzig has better subs, but Wiman is just a little better wrestler. It's a good and tough fight, but I'm going with Wiman by decision. I anticipate this could be fight of the night with there being lots of striking, wrestling, sub attempts and scrambles. These fuckers better live up to my hype.

On a side note, I think this will be the last UFC on Versus, since the FOX deal was signed.
Thanks for posting I forgot about the fight. Good card and the title fight could be great.
Can't wait to see Anthony Johnson, hope he still has that explosiveness that he used to have!

Why not Zoidberg??
I thought the call on Anthony Johnson KO of Charlie Brenneman was much too fast. The ref jumped in seconds after the kick to the fae. Brenneman was still able to fight, very able, and he is strong from the ground.

First time I have seen Dominick Cruz look slow and winded. He usually sets the pace and has the fastest hands and footwork. Not this time. Mighty Mouse gave him a run for the money. I thought Cruz had the submission, it was amazing to see Mighty Mouse get out of that body triangle and choke. Even though Might Mouse had his face looking like a blow fish all puffed up at the end, I felt like he was the aggressor or at least pushing the fight. Decent fight, Cruz held on to a lot of takedowns though.

Pat Barry vs. Stefan Struve - disappointing fight. Struve doesn't utilize his reach and he used very few kicks. With those legs and Barry's lack of wrestling skill, Struve should have pounded him with leg kicks. All he gave him were some teeps to the body and a couple of teeps to the legs (although one almost hyper extended Barrys knee). The ground fight looked clumsy and awkward. Barry did nothing and Struve jumped at the chance to take it to the ground like he was afraid of the stand up. Nice triangle and nice slam, but overall it looked like a gym fight.

Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman - that was a war. They beat the shit out of each other but Wiman was definitely getting in better shots, especially the elbows and forearm shots. Wiman nearly had two subs and Danzigs guilitone at the end was deep but not enough time. That was a war!

I missed all the Facebook fights. Forgot about Facebook. I hate having to watch in two or sometimes three places (Facebook , then Spike, then Pay per View). Looking forward to consolidation, although I hope that they don't reduce the number of fights we can see.

Lot of questionable ref calls last night.

IIRC, Dana said that with the Fox deal more fights should get on TV, removing the need for the FB stream. FB was a way for fans to see more, as you might remember, the undercard was typically not seen unless the PPV had time to spare.

I thought the stoppage on Charlie was a little quick, but not bad or to quick. He was wobbly and not even facing Johnson, then he landed the kick and went limp and eyes rolled back. The ref saw that and made his move. He could of let it fight, but I understand why he did it. Either way, Johnson looked like an absolute beast. Charlie looked puzzled. He needs to strike for a year, he looked awful.

Barry will probably be cut now or soon. His take down defense was better, but his sub defense sucks still. Danzi vs WIman was an awesome fight and could be up for foty. Absolute war. DOminick cruz apparently broke his hand. Mighty mouse did well, but seemed to fade after the 1st 2 rounds. Like he was frozen on what to do. I really gave the 1st 2 rnds to him as I thought he landed the more significant strikes. the last 3 rounds were obviously Cruz.

Haven't watched the prelims yet.
