Not of me (sorry Mack!)

Ok anyways, I wanted to start a thread where people can post pictures of their own animals (dogs, cats, birds, snakes, whatever you own).

I shall go first.

Here are a few pics of my pug Bailey. He's a little over a year now, and he's my little brat

Puppy picture:

His one year birthday with the family dog Jamie (yeah he's fat):

Wearing his WI Badgers shirt my parents bought him:

I no longer have any animals since I sold my Red-Tailed Boa, but I will see if I can scrounge up some pics of my youngest sister's cool-ass St Bernard pup.

My cat Willow who passed away suddenly last October:

My mom had a sense of humor with her too:
Stones: Is a salt water tank harder to maintain then a freshwater tank? I've long thought of getting a fish tank when I have a larger place, and I love how the tropical fish look, but not sure on the maintenance of them.

Yes.

Saltwater is actually far easier. Just more expensive to start up. The biggest thing you really need is a quality filtration system, if you have that, it will pretty much upkeep itself.
I started out with freshwater tanks & they are nothing but a pain in the ass.

Like the 29 gallon systems you see at like walmart for $100 & they come with a filtration system, those are fine for freshwater, but they are not good filters for salt.
Once your tank is up & running it has it's own ecosystem & essentially does all the work on its own. Freshwater you kind of have to do all that for it.

I just recently bought that setup i have, it's a 39 gallon.

I have always founf saltwater more difficult for a variety of reason: it is harder sometimes to get the fish to adjust to the environment and start eating, the delicate 'PH balance' game you have to play, changing the water in a freshwater tank is far easier, not to mention EVERYTING is more expensive when it comes to saltwater tanks: the equipment, the fish, etc.

It just always seemed to me freshwater fish were easier to keep alive.

Saltwater tanks are far more appealing to the eyes, though.

Heres my dog. He's a mut. He is a bichon mixed with poodle, mixed with something else. Got him from the humain society when he was 6months old. Previous owners abused him but we got him now and hes about 13-14 years old and still acts like a puppy!

I took this picture from our christmas party, did some editing to it for my mom. He was mad that there was like 15+ ppl on his couch. lol.

And here he is acting "Cute"

O btw his name is Dijon. Yes, like the mustard.

hmm very nice. I still have a lot to learn about owning fish and keeping them alive. Only experience I had was my goldfish (named Dinner, hehehehe) as a kid. Kept him in a simple fish bowl and he lasted about 6 months.

I just find fish so calming and pretty to watch. I love going to look at all the tropical fish at the stores and just watch them swim. So beautiful
Maine coon cats are the best. I'm also hoping to get a genet when I get my own place.

Slut pose:

Whatever:

That actually looks like you have some skills there, mang.
Yeah, I used to be a lot better when I was younger, but then I quit the arts for science and technology. I then dropped out of college with my major being biotechnology and started to sketch again.

My other sister (not the one pictured) started U of M pre-med and ended up with an art degree
It's funny how it works out. Now don't get me wrong, I love science and technology... but I realized I didn't want to dedicate my life to it.

Though, if we were back in the 30's or 40's I would have no choice but to do science and tech

Yeah but aren't St. Bernard's supposed to be really big? Lab's should only be like 70-80lbs max, even less if you have a female.

I want to get a picture of my friend's Bull Mastiff, he's like a giant Bailey
