Anyone stuck in the ice storm hitting the midwest?

One of my clients was in Milwaukee last night and their plane actually got stuck in the snow and couldnt get out. Milwaukee cancled like 85% of their flights.
Did it get stuck in the air?

we were supposed to get hit by it (NW suburbs of Chicago) but turns out I guess the storm split before getting here, and only rthe far north and far south of illinois got hit real bad. The weathermen were hyping it up to be a storm that would cripple the suburbs for a week. I was slightly disappointed...

South Carolina.
10am tomorrow, 1st of 2 storms to hit NY, bleh.......

and it was wet and 50 today, that was our 'nice' weather before the storms hit.
My moms family lives in Oklahoma city... on one street there was so much ice on the trees, that they bent into the street from both sides so the road was unpassable, but there was nothing on the road.
We got hit yesterday. We had the inch of ice, but the snow never materialized. Considering finals are next week I actually wanted class, but yesterday the U closed down. Reason enough to have some sorority girls over and have some beers.
81 degrees here today. Suckers!

I live just south of OKC. It's been really bad here. A federal state of emergency was declared on Monday and we're waiting for a disaster decleration to go through. 25 people have died either in car accidents or froze to death in their cars because they got stranded.

Our power was out for two days and just came back on today. At one point we had close to a million people without power. Everywhere you looked the weight of the ice had snapped power lines.

The good news is today it was 40 which helped melt alot of the ice. The bad news is we're expecting a worse storm tomorrow and Saturday.

You run out of gas because you get stuck out on some back road in a foot of snow.
Tulsa here, we lost power Sunday and got it back Thursday. We only had about a inch of freezing rain, but that is a lot in reality when it is on trees and power lines.
For the idiots: Freezing rain is, it starts as sleet, then comes through a warm layer of air and melts, then comes back in to air that is below freezing. It stays as liquid until it comes in to contact with something (car, house, tree etc) and then freezes instantly as ice. We were lucky though and the ground was fairly warm so the roads never got slick except on bridges and such.
All I can say is, thank god for my parents having a generator installed when they built their new house. We just went over there and never missed a beat. A lot of people are not so lucky though, and my thoughts and prayers go out to those who are still without power. My thoughts and prayers do not go out to those who were so stupid as to bring a gasoline powered generator INSIDE their house, and ran it. I think they said we've had 23 deaths in Tulsa from various weather related causes. We also only had one gas station in town with power, and they ran out of fuel on Wednesday. All is almost back to normal now, but we have a snow storm coming tonight.
