Use Hotel Drinking Glasses at your own risk:

Just ran across this video this morning, and was quite disgusted.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a7f_1194813218

Link is a "hidden camera" investigation into what measures hotel custodians take in order to "clean" used glasses. A few Hotels were investigated and all found to have the same practice, which tells me management have told there employees to do this for ages.
What do they do? I might feel sick if I watch

its not that bad...but youll be shocked at least. you wont be sick though...youll wonder how you havent been sick yet tho.
Hotel rooms are some of the nastiest places there are imo.
Think about the shit that goes on in them.
I never use the glasses in a hotel room. Let alone much of anything other than the bed, tv, and pool.
O_o Great! I think I used my glass only once though for medication purposes. Otherwise I did not use the hotel water at all. It tastes too much like iron for my liking. This was in NYC.
Makes you wonder how/if they change the bedsheets.

I try not to think about other people's body fluids, and where they end up in a hotel room.... because they don't exactly steam clean the floors or anything in hotel rooms.

As long as I'm not sleeping with some other person's DNA in the sheets, I'm good.
This one is even more disgusting, and its exactly the type of thing my friends tell me about when they talk to recruiters and try to join the armed forces.

Thats not that big a deal. They are telling "Potential Recruits" that they have to be clean to join the service. They cannot enter boot camp until a clean drug test is administered. And we all know after you enter boot camp, you WILL be clean for that time period, hopefully keeping you clean thereafter.
I know how slamming the millitary or millitary suppoters, in any way possible is a delight to many on these forums, but that video seemed to have an agenda.

But TY for trying to de-rail my post

don't be too worried. every restaurant/hotel/casino i've worked for has been very clean. of course we all hear horror stories but they are not the norm by any means. and no...99% of cooks would never do gross shit to your food. most of us take alot of pride in our work.

Why would I slam the military? I have several friends in the armed forces, by TY for trying to de-rail my reply.

The FACT is that they are coaching potential recruits on how to beat the army drug testing requirements, giving them drug kits to let them know when the proper time to beat the test would be, NOT telling them that they have to be clean to pass.

Furthermore, they give recruits gallons of water prior to testing if there are any questions as to whether or not they will pass, effectively watering down their piss sample and replacing it with B12. These defeat the test, they are coaching the recruits on how to cheat.

If you get caught with a drug test indicating positive results for the presence of coke, meth, or THC, you CAN NOT TRY AGAIN at a different time.

By giving the recruits take-home drug tests and methods to beat the test, they are effectively cheating the system.
Get the fuck out of this thread about HOTEL shit. Make a new thread and bicker there about that stuff.

I have had a few friends in the food service industry and after watching them prepare their work of art, I would agree.

Even if you a batshit crazy, left wing commie! [PS: I had a laugh from that thread that got locked, lol]

Cobalt, so what? They have an agenda with that piece. Hell, they couldnt even get the Battalion Commander's rank right. He is a lieutenant colonel, not an lt. Pretty easy to tell by the black oak leaf on the front of his ACUs. And in the end, no Soldier wants a drug using piece of shit to depend on when the shit hits the fan. So either get clean or dont join. If you choose to use drugs, then that is your problem, just dont join my Army.
Back on topic people, cmon.

No soldier wants a drug using pos to depend on, I agree 100%.
Thats why its so offensive to see recruiters telling drug users when to get tested in order to avoid being screened out before joining. Equally as offensive are recruiters giving potential recruits gallons of water and telling them to dilute their urine before a test.

Our opinions on the subject don't seem to differ, our agenda is equal, so whats the criticism? Those recruiters are trying to cheat the system and put drug users in the army, neither you nor I want that. When I heard my friends accounts of what they've seen recruiters do to help people cheat drug tests I was skeptical that this may have been a bad egg, now I see its a wider issue that applies to many different recruiters.

Your articulation left me the impression that the recruiters were offensive. Frankly, that surprised me given your penchant for firepower videos and military stuff.

Anyway, nope, we are in agreement and the heavens are aligned for this millennial event.
