Last time I played this game was a few months ago. Clearly, I don't care about it.
I came into the battlefield franchise about a year after 1942's release. Since then, I've played everything in comp besides Vietnam. The games have gone from great to awful in a span of a decade. They took a franchise primed for greatness and turned it into horse shit. Those of you who know me know that I love this series - for those who don't know me.. well you should feel the same.
This game has always been about "rock/paper/scissors" balancing. No particular area was stronger than anyone else. Everyone had a weakness. It was like this for a long time, but no more. Now, we have a game which awards players who pay for upgrades and skill. We have an unbalanced, bullshit game that most people play for mere nostalgia. Nostalgia that is like going on an acid trip and ending up on shrooms. It's like going to bed with a 10 and waking up with a 2. It's like fucking a hot blonde but awaking to sheep. It's not fair. None of us should pay for the fact that corporations like EA force us to play shitty, mass-produced games so they can feed their obese children. Fuck them. Fuck EA, and fuck these developers. Fuck this mass produced bullshit. I want creativity. I want a game I want to play. I want a game like Tribes: Ascend - but I want more of them. I want more creative, thoughtful and more importantly SKILLFUL games. If I wanted to play with my own vomit I would throw up in a jar or shit a kitten. Fuck these companies.
The only way to stop them is with your wallet. Make a difference. Be a rebel.
