AA3 League plans?

I know this is a ladder thread... but Im going to post here and assume that an admin will move it if it's more appropriate somewhere else.

Are there any plans for a AA3 league? If not... why? Also, what are the issues that are keeping us from having a AA3 league? It seems that we have the resources to have several AA3 ladders... why not a league?

There was a league meeting between the admins about a week ago and plans are being discussed and put in to place to hopefully have something up and running for sign ups within the month I should think

We will likely be running single map tournaments before we branch out into league. We really need more maps and teams before we can support a league season.

I really wish there would be a patch/new cheat detection system in place before this happens but o well, better then nothing really.

I was in a game like a month ago with devs and a clanmate asked when the new patch would be out and he said "soooooooon", a month later and nothing to show for it.
