playoff predictions...

based off the final standings, and using the H2H, then rw/rl tiebreaker as in the rules, here's the matchups

Axis Div
#1 True Soldiers (7-2) vs #8 Wolf Foreign Legion (3-6)*
TS turned it on and was able to lock up the #1 seed in the conference. WFL plays well together, but i think they will fall to Elliot's noobtube rage and the rest of TS

TS 3-0

#2 Swat Guys (7-1, 1 forfeit) vs #7We Happy Few (3-6)*
SG might be the suprise team of this season, if not for their forfeit, they would be the 1 seed due to their win over TS. WHF will put up a fight, but i'm picking SG

SG 3-1

#3 Commission (6-3)** vs #6 ASF (4-5)
After not playing RTCW for awhile, .com marched into the shrub league and played well enough to earn the #3 seed in their division. ASF started 4-1, then lost their last 4 (including last week to .com). This could be MOTW, if ASF prepares enough. I think they will and will rebound from their rough second half.

#4 Suicidal Intent (6-3)** vs #5 The Barbaric Army (5-4)
a month ago, i thought SI was a lock for #1 seed in the division, but a tough schedule and alot of their players playing other games knocked em down to here. I still know very little about TBA, although i thought i read somewhere they were having problems fielding 6 sometimes? If SI brings 6 and are sharp, i don't think theyll have problems.

#1 Hair Pullers (8-1)*** vs #8 Decree (4-5)

BWG also brings it to the face. their only loss was to hair pullers, and they had many decisive victories against other strong teams.

#3 Confused (7-2) vs #6 GLOW (5-2, 2 forfeits)****
GLOW will be hungry for revenge, after we beat em during the reg season.

#4 4 Horsemen (6-3) vs #5 Office Space (5-2, 1 forfeit)****
how fitting 4H gets the 4th seed. They are pretty damn solid team, probably the best "pure shrub" team in this league, where they hadnt been known in osp circles before. speaking of osp teams, OS is damn tough. This is my MOTW. Despite 4H being the higher seed, many will look at them as the underdog here, and i think the underdog will take it.

should be good games with us and office space. we played em in the season and it was very tight.

again asf without key players .comish just out shot us was gg tho . ya we played the best teams every week dont think one was under 3rd rung . will see what happens next time .and 4h has proved to be a great partner to asf i hope can contiue it next time also . gl to all in playoffs .

-MOTW, ASF is better than the record shows. Maybe they've been playing too much osp and relaxing for the shrub matches? I think they will show up and win this match.

-TBA is a good team but doesn't seem to have what it takes to match up with the best. They will take a round but SI will walk away with a W.

-Don't know much about these teams. Whoever pulls it together and plays with fewer mistakes can win. I'll take the team with 7 wins.

-Office space plays a lot of wolf. I know 4H scrims with ASF regularly, which makes them dangerous. I'll go with c[_] since they will need more than 4 horsemen in 6 vs 6.

This is because we noticed we were playing such a strange lineup. Not playing anyone bewlow 5th place really makes you realize that this isn't the most serious league your in. So natrually we just kinda stopped caring.

Even though we have fun in this league it just isn't setup properly compared to other leagues. I don't care what hot or any of the admins say it's just not setup properly with us playing nobody but the top 5 in our division.

We were looking forward to playing others down our totem pole but never got too because of the interdivision matches and for SOME reason they put the good vs the good instead of the traditional and fair way of pitting everyone against everyone.

EVERYONE in the shrub league I've talked to, even if they have psted or not, has agreed that this is a very very strange and not so fun way to play this. ASF just kinda lost interest after we realized we could have lost our first 2 or 3 and THEN we could have won the rest since we would have been put up against teams on the lower part of the ladder.

Just wish next time instead of a human being chosing the matches there would be a robot that would randomly chose our battels for us. If not then expect the same un-excitedness from us after the midpoint of this season.

not trying to attack your opinion or anything high1, but a quick look at the 3 teams who finished with 4-5 records including yours (using team with same records to get a fair comparison), and their opponents records:

ASF opposition: 46-25
Decree opposition: 51-27
Xtreme soldiers opposition: 51-27

so asf wasnt exactly singled out or anything.

as far as generally speaking about the schedules...this is the same thing that cal and twl osp has always done. hotniks probably mixed it up a bit more than the osp admins normally did, with the 2 weeks of interdivisional play and such.
