Recently, a couple of disputes have come up that TeamWarfare has had to handle. One of the most important factors that helps us in the decision making process is Match Communications. Please be clear on them and include ALL of the following information:
- Please state who is hosting, the server name, and the passwords.
- If there is an issue, post it in the match comms, then click on Match Dispute so that the TWL admins will be made aware.
- If the maps are to be changed, both teams need to post that they agree to it.
- If the match is to be rescheduled, both teams need to post that they agree.
Otherwise, when a dispute comes up, if both teams haven't posted their agreement, then the decision could go against them.
It is important for all of this information to be in the match comms...so much so that excluding any information could result in an automatic decision made in your opponent's favor for not submitting the required information.
Once a Match Dispute is filed, both teams should submit all relevant screen shots in a .zip file with time and date stamps to the TeamWarfare admin that is handling your dispute. The screen shots can not be altered in any way, or it will be considered null and void.
Hopefully with these guidelines, things will go smoother in the future and will aid us in making decisions on the disputes in a timely manner.
