Hey I was just wondering if there is a limit on the classes you can take. Can you only have one of each class or can you have 2 or 3 of the same class? I just checked the rules and didn't see anything about it...Please give me some feedback on this.....Thanks!!!
SNIPERS=2
RADIOMEN=2
ENGINEER=2

That should be in the rules, but I will double check to make sure.

P.S. It may have been deleted with all the changes that were made.

Made changes to the rules to reflect the class limit.

Hey Thanks for the quick response Enigma^X!!!
I actually say that having more than one radioman per team will destroy several of the maps potential as 2 has already proved too much in public games.

I don't necessarily see a point by having a limit on Engineers either as they don't pose a threat like a sniper or radio man does. Too many snipers is not only unrealistic, but slows down gameplay completely. Same thing goes for Radioman as stated above, with slight other effects than the sniper.
@ S2000 I agree
I think that 2 radio men are sufficient without over doing it. This doesn't mean you have to have 2 radio men, if you like ur tactics using 1 then it's up to you. Personally I've never seen a good radio man mess up a map/pub server. Just base your tactics around the idea there could be possible 2 radio men. Limiting the engineer saves from having 200 booby-traps all over the map...lol.

Where do you pub often....

When myself and clanmate go out raiding servers the 4 of us with 3 man holding the other team down and myself calling in air strikes can pretty much shut down any type of offense anyone else has......

And thats just the 4 of us...its not counting the other 6 playing at the time....

1 radio man is enough, 2 engineers is cool since it allows better restocking for the front lines if needed....most maps have two routes and that allows the trapping of both routes without overdoing it.

2 snipers is perfect.....I wish they could limit the snipers by gun...1 scope 1 non scope....since it takes alot more spatience to kill with a non scope gun and the scoped guns are overpowered IMHO anyway

Thats my 2 cents
it really depends on the map. using the scoped rifles is hard in maps that are closer quarters, like ambush (i know ambush is the biggest map, but the way its constructed...) and the VC base. i usually use the nonscope when i'm on those.

actually, i really like the M1 carbine, on lots of maps.

Most people dont know this...but you dont need the scope...if your standing still and prone the first shot of the carbine always hits on the cross hair....

Vietcong mode just removes the cross hair....

small bit of masking tape puts it back.....
ah, because in vietnam snipers would put crosshairs on their eyeballs with masking tape?

I myself would consider that a cheat(for match play) that could never be proved by an opposing team and should not be posted here! we already have enough cheats and hacks in the game we don't need a bunch of people running around vietnam mode servers's with crosshairs it just defeats the purpose of vietnam mode.

I don't think marking your monitor is a cheat People have been doing that for YEARS...somethings are just out of your control hehehe.

BM

p.s. I don't mark my monitor - I aim
seriously? man.
i don't think that would work for me. LCD monitors don't like tape.

agreed..Im just saying I wish they could limit the type of guns in a certain class because of it
leading us right back to where we started.
I believe there is an easy solution for this, it requires the developers help though. Make shooting from the hip inaccurate in Vietnam mode, at least past a certain range.
I never shoot from the hip unless the guy is right on my toes...never.

BM
I think wat Ordoc means is that in Nam mode you HAVE to aim the weapon before it fires so that there is no point in taping your monitor cause you have to aim anyway before the gun even fires.

I think that is a very good solution indeed but i doubt we will ever see something like that soon cause they have a lot of other stuff thats prolly more important.

CO-Leader NL Clan
|BEWARE|
think there must be something wrong with your game then becuase my gun can fire without aiming it.

And that is in Nam Mode too.

Or if your saying that that is want ordoc wanted, incorrect, he stated that the devs should make it INACCURATE when shooting from the hip, not making the gun not fire from the hip.
