can anybody help?problem with E T — TWL Forum Archive

i`m new to online gaming,recently i downloaded EnemyTerritory and it played fine,now a couple of days later when i go to play it everythin is in french(options ect)and finding a server is impossible,does anyone have a clue what is going on as i am running out of hair to pull out.

Creating two threads was unnecessary, but....

Your ET being in French means that you most likely connected to a French server (like in France or Quebec), which then downloaded the language pack to your computer. It would be a small file and easy fix for someone more experienced with ET, but you'd need to be able to figure out exactly which file it is...which would be difficult for someone new to ET. Therefore, I'd just suggest to uninstall ET via "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel and then delete the folder "CProgram Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory" before installing again.

thanks 4 yr help, i found the culprit and deleted it ,now its back to english but no servers are showing up ,any thoughts?

Mr P,can you help me once again please,i`m tryin to bind commands,requests ect to keys but when it says bring down the console with the tide key,nothin happens?? i aint even sure if this mess will reach you this way but i`v got no joy by posting a thread,any thoughts?

I had same problem and I deleted one file. Now it works. go to the folder where your wolfenstein is, go to etmain and delete WolfET_Fr_Alpha2_[RW].pk3.

Thanks for your help peeps,it helped alot even though i posted a while back,alls thats left to say is Nazzi Muddah if ye aint got anything constructive to say just keep it shut fool.
