ok so i installed vista and got t2 working, but whenever i play a game for more than a few mins it seems to overheat and shut down. is there any way to override this?
I have a feeling you don't want to over-ride the safety shut-off...
Your laptop sounds good, so I'm assuming it's pretty new? I had that exact problem a few months back, but my laptop is 3 years old; it turned out there was about a 3/4" layer of dust over the vid-card cooling fan port.
Other than that you can probably just google it and find a site that tells you how to adjust the temp. control in Vista; it might even just be in the bios settings.

yea i turned one of the cpus off and my fps went from 10 to 250.
i'll check out the dust issue. that's probably the case because i haven't cleaned it out in the 6 months i've had the laptop.
