I just found this on Debig3's site. It says its a reticle fix for new patch. Link is http://debig3.tribes2.org/displayscript.php?id=13
BTW, this may override other reticle scripts so they nolonger work as they should.
Does this go into the base folder?
Place it in your ".\GameData\base\scripts\autoexec" folder.
Thanks worked great!

Me too, thanks!!
Thank you, much too
(bump) Worked for me.

So now that I have reticles again, will I be able to aim well?

'Cause I couldn't before.
I don't know about everyone else, but i get a circle around all my recticles now. I did a clean install and used the fix, but i get a circle, like the one around the disc launcher usually around every recticle, even the sniper one. its hard as hell to snipe now

I'm glad to know it's not just me, that ring around the sniper ret is irritating as hell
To get rid of the ret ring altogether, just open up the retfix.cs file and change

reticleFrameHud.setVisible(true);

to

reticleFrameHud.setVisible(false);
this needs to be sticky

yea just make it

If you set it to false, it get's rid of the circle all together. Before, some recticles had the circle, while some didn't. Now there is no circle, BUT it's a lot better than a circle while sniping

Personally the i think the circle is pointless and just gets in the way

Use this at your own risk, but to eliminate it just for the sniper rifle, replace

reticleFrameHud.setVisible(false);

to

if ( %slot != 5 )
reticleFrameHud.setVisible(true);
else
reticleFrameHud.setVisible(false);

here, %slot refers to the weapon type with 5 being the value of the sniper rifle.

It works, but I've never done any programming with Tribes stuff before, so use at your own risk.
neofight made a 1 line script that does the exact same thing, *or so he says * get it in propack or something.
Is there any other site where I can get this script. Every time I go to this one my browser freezes.

Thx.
