auto demo?

Someone made me a script that automatically demos when a count down starts but it has some probs. The major prob is that it doesnt work after a map change (the demo automatically stops). I was wondering if anyone knew the caus of this from there own experience and could perhaps make a modified version? If it also demoed when u first join a server that would be cool too..

ive always wanted to know why ;/ its just like auto pushing a button(tho obviously more to it then that)

I have one that does not corrupt demos made by a former clanmate.

The only problem I have with it is that it ends at the end of the map, so you can't see the scores.

If anyone wants this, a host wouuld be helpful.

From the readme:

Starts:
1) When you join a server
2) When a match starts

Stops:
1) End of match
2) When the game start countdown gets to 1. This is because I auto-started when you join. And if you join before a match starts then it tries to start twice before stopping (this should still work but wouldn't look pretty).

Looking at my scripts I see that that script isn't installed ATM, but I know it works. Right now something is only recording Tournament mode games, so i'll have to do some quick investigating and find out what's up.

Edit: btw geebs=me, I like being able to play as a different name sometimes.

<-- moron. I always forget to. The only problem with this script is that you accumulate a lot of demos, so you'll have to go through them periodically and clean them out. It also helps to have somethign that names your demos for you.

Ok what I'm using now is RedDemoNames. It has a built in auto-demo in the script.

Im not worth wasteing the space on my computer to demo

RedDemoNames only records when the server is in tourney mode, and it has options you can set easily so that the demo name is meaningful (Yourname/Map/Mapside and more).

The script made by Ma7hatter that I have will record all games, including pubs.

can u hook me up? i want one that handles pubs too. Caus sometimes i get sweet shots i wanna make into avis ;/

really? I haven't noticed that, but then I don't watch my demos that much. I'll check it out.
