I'd like your input.

Did you like/dislike knowing all the weeks (map, opponent, home/away status)? Or did it take away from the suspense, surprise, etc?

Let me know. I'll go with majority decision.

Also, any comments/suggestions regarding only the Inter league.. (no rules, maps, etc.).. anything I and only I can do for you.

I think people are waiting to see how the teams are sorted out before posing in the wrong thread.

I think this post relates to the 4v season since the demographics are yet to be determined for the 6v.

I think the format should remain for regular and preseason (knowing the maps ahead of time). League is about preparation and doing what has to be done each week. If it was a tournament, sure keep it private until match time, but since it is a league and has to do with sustained ability across multiple opponents and multiple maps, keep them public.

knowing the map ahead of time is good, doesnt really matter if you know who you are playing.

no point hiding the teams, cuz (if it's like last season) the 2nd half of the season repeats the first half, and you only play the other teams in ur division so theres not much suspense anyways.

Hide the maps until 5 mins b4 the match, so I won't feel any pressure to practice or scrim (i mean how could you, not knowing the map). Don't even release what maps that get voted in by the community so that no one even knows the general map list, much less specific weeks. What's week 1? Could be pipeline, could be Recon, you'll know @ 9:25 EST, gl hf.

The bit about hiding the maps was a complete joke, btw. So, to answer your question seriously : Yes, I liked knowing all the weeks (map, opponent, home/away status).

and you need to change the part in ur original post where u say "any comments/suggestion regarding only the invite league"

must've been an inter thing cause my league did not have the same schedule for the second half. i made sure of it. :-D

Invites had 12 teams, 2 divions, Inters had 24 teams, 4 divisions. Open had like 60 teams and 2 divisions.

Right, so with 30 teams per division, the teams couldn't have played each other twice. However, in the last 4v4 (2004) the teams played each other twice just like the rest of the leagues, but then again, there was not 60 teams in the open, we were happy to see 24 (or relatively close).
