zblock error msg

hey i got my server now and i put zblock on and i get this msg everytime i join it says warning some protections are disabled and i want to no y and my clan member said wen i put it on it wont let him in either bc it says directx lvl to low or somthing um wats it mean and how can he fix it? um it be nice if i can get answers

I don't know why you would be getting the warning message about the protections being disabled, hopefully someone else will be able to help you with that. As for the directx level being to low, zblock requires people to play with a directx level of 8.0 or above. Your teamate needs to change his directx level by typing "mat_dxlevel 80" or higher in his game console. 80 will make his directx level 8.0, 81 will be 8.1, 90 will be 9.0.

ok thanks man that helps alot and well would that warning level make any penaltys or anything bad with twl in the demos in matches or wat?
