On a totally separate note to all the bad publicity RS is getting...

I just wanted to say that i love RS. I think it shows the quality of the game when i still play some maps after 75+ hours of playing and i'm still surprised at what some people are doing either with camping spots/tactics/ambushes. Does the cheating hurt it? Ya, a bit. Does the bugs hurt it? Ya, sure. But by the end of the day, i think theres enough good stuff to outweigh the bad here.

Ok, i'm done being a fan boy now. LOL! Let the flamin begin!

i lvoe this game too. and even without cheating, is till seem to do okay in pubs. not great, but okay.

hopefully one day i will be great.
and hopefully the patch will correct these evil cheat issues.

I say we get the IP's of cheaters and submit them to some friends of mine in the hacking comunity...

there was some guy named carlos on DLR's server who i coulda sworn was using a wall hack....he certainly expected me before i would haave thought possible.

I love playing RvS. As for cheating, I've always viewed it like this:
If you kill a cheater, you win. If a cheater kills you, they're a loser. There by making you not a loser, cuz they're the loser

OK, I have one thing to say. I was looking for working cheats on the internet so that I could report them to the anti-cheat people. I was playing against my clan members, testing the things out, and they are just plain stupid. I cant figure out any way that you could detect them using screens or anything. (My clan-mates didnt know I was using them, until I told them [It was a locked server, no one else was there]} There are so many of these things on the Internet it is rediculous. Something HAS to be done. (It takes about 2 minutes to install one of these cheats, and its way to easy to hide from sommeone else)

I have sinced un-installed and re-installed my game, to make sure that all remnents of the cheats are gone. I am amazed at how easy I was able to obtain these things. GET THAT ANTI-CHEAT THING WORKING NOW!!! The cheats make it VERY VERY easy to do hard things.

O yea, and one more thing. I AM NOT A CHEATER. I HATE CHEATERS. I DID THIS TO SEE IF I COULD FIND A WAY TO DETECT CHEATERS. If you have the IP's of some cheaters, give em to me Ill see what my "friends" can do.

One more thing... UBI could stop the multi-hack I tested, simply by making all of the F# keys on the keyboard do somethign stupid that cant be changed. (Like adjust in game colors or change HUD options) Just an idea, but as I said before, something has to be done.

Heres the problem with the edit button. It leaves that little edited note, and people wonder what you took out. (Well at least I do...)

Killmasta, as it would be so nice for your friends to eliminate the cheaters it just isn't possible the way you say. Anyone can send you someone's IP and they could be clean and they could be cheating. No way for you to know.

So you could be "hacking" someones clean computer and causing them trouble when they did nothing. That is why letting IP's and other things fly is not cool.

I know, I know, I was only jokin around. Although if you have proof...
