Season 16 Announcements & Mass Mailers

Announcements & mass mailers are sent to team captains and founders only - but in the event to inform everyone, they will also be posted here.

Week 2 is here and things are moving great this season! We've had more teams sign up this week and very little no shows.

I want to remind all teams that you must playout all 30 rounds of the match. You must also report the score with a total of 30 rounds. Every round counts towards playoffs.

If the other team does not show for it's match or both teams agree to a forfeit in match comms, please file a no show dispute instead of reporting it on your own. It is important so we may adjust the points and rounds.

A reminder that this season, it should only be the losing team who reports the loss or file a dispute within 1 hour of match completion. If a dispute is filed and the match is reported, the dispute will still be active and will move on. It will not be closed. When filing a dispute, please post in match comms that you have filed a dispute so neither team reports the match and that match comms remain open for the duration of the dispute.

sorry.. just one thing i dont understand and maybe im just dumb but you state registration is open til november 5th but everytime i sign up within 24 hours im not assigned a conference and get `kicked` so nothing shows up

Week 4 is here everyone!

We are already at the halfway point of the season. The season has been locked for registration of new teams. All teams who were pending division assignment who did not have 5 were removed. I want to take this time to remind things of a couple things.

- Rosters will be locked at the end of the week(Friday, November 12th at 11:59pm). People will still be able to leave teams but will not be able to join them. No exceptions will be made for this rule!

- Please remember to not report your own no show wins. You must file a dispute. There are still teams reporting their own.

- When submitting a dispute, please post it in match comms so they remain open. Simply post "Dispute has been filed" and an admin will look into it. even if a team reports the score to a match that has been disputed, the dispute will remain open.

- All teams must play out all 30 rounds and the reported score should give a total of 30. This is important for playoff seeding as every round counts!

- A reminder that the new cfgs and zBlock 4.5 should be used as of this week for all league matches. The are available for download in the Operations>Downloads/Files section.

- Teams are responsible for scheduling their make-up matches and both teams need to contact an admin at least 24 hours in advance. We will not schedule make-up matches for you. Teams with 2 or more forfeit wins will not be eligible for playoffs. Also teams who receive 3 forfeit losses will also be removed from league play.

- Finally, Teams who do not have 5 people on their roster will be removed at the end of the week. Please ensure that your team has 5 players.

Greetings everyone!

Sorry for the delay in the scheduling for week 7 matches. Real-life matters needed taken care of.

With this, you will notice that you have 2 matches scheduled. As a change this season, week 7 and week 8 will have 2 matches scheduled. The default days will be Monday and Thursday. The default time will remain the same.

Both matches will need to be reported or have an open dispute(remember teams have 1 hour to file a dispute after a match is played) by Saturday, 11:59pm.

Only 2 more weeks before the season is over. Please be sure to schedule your make-up matches as soon as possible.

I do regret to inform you though with the Christmas holidays and amnesty period approaching, we will not be able to begin playoffs until after the holidays. With this thought, we have made it official that a "Round of 16" will be taken place instead of the top 8 teams.

All teams will have until the beginning of amnesty period to play all make-up matches. After amnesty has begun, no exceptions will be made.

so whats the date for playoffs to begin?

Jan 3rd or 10th, - that would be my best guess anyways. If there is a double on de_train next week and a week of amnesty. It leaves one week for disputes and bracket set up.
Therefore maybe 1/3/11 (if time allows), 1/10/11 (most likely).
Ofcourse I'm just guessing.

Attention Eveyrone,

I have delayed in scheduling Week 8 matches due to the heavy volume of disputes we have received. There will only be 1 match for this week and the default day will be Wednesday, 9:00PM EST.

Also, with this being the last week of the season and Amnesty begining at the end of the week... please note that Team have until the end of the week to schedule make-up matches.

Playoffs will begin upon return of amnesty. The top 16 teams will move on to playoffs. Teams in the top 16 with more then 2 Forfeit wins will not be eligible for playoffs as per the rules state.

To give time to setup the playoff brackets and finalize disputes, Playoffs are scheduled to being on January 10th.

Seems to me that we are going to seed from current standings for S16. If that is the case, I assume that playoff schedule will be posted within the next 2 days. GL to everyone, look forward to specing some great matches the next few weeks.

Well, I hope not since they still haven't fixed my team's scores =)

They somehow only scheduled us 1 match for D2 and said they would give us a Bye if they cuoldn't figure it out. Haven't heard from them since after multiple e-mails. wouldn't mind having our 2-1 win (way to mis-report) to the correct score of 27-3 either =D
