Want to know: What the hell is a mouse hack????????? I'm showing my noobness here, and not for the first time either, but I'm a at a loss on this. I use the prog called PS2Rate. Is that considered a mouse hack?????

Yes. You have to use Win98 in TWL.

Not unless that program alters certain cvars which are not intended to be changed. I'm not an admin, but that's how I would read into it. I'm sure an admin will give you an answer soon.

Doesn't alter cvars any. Just jacks up the sampling rate of the PS2 port to a max of 200Hz. Only works with win98 and NT I believe. WinXP lets you do this right in the OS so I can't see a problem with using this, but I won't if it's disallowed.

I dont think thats a hack. I dont see how it is. Making your mouse work better is the same as tweaking your graphics.

As for a mouse hack, I would say a cvar that disables vertical movement would be a mouse hack. Always head level without trying...
