Urban Terror League

Greetings,

Im writing this thread in reference to the ctf scheduling.
I realize that you guys dont get payed for running twl and also realize that perhaps you are enjoying a game, but I was curious if perhaps the match scheduling for the Urban Terror CTF League for Season #3 could be done in a more timely manner. This post is not meant to be hostile or inconsiderate, but if perhaps the scheduling could be bumped from maybe 2-3 days to perhaps updated the day after the prior match or drawn up for the entire season. More time to plan for matches and set up strategies etc. etc.

Scheduling has been held up due to a match that didn't get completed on the scheduled night.

Then why don't you guys put who plays who in these forums?

you know what the maps are going to be played up until the final game. we cannot make the next schedule until all games are played. due to teams dropping in and out of this league throughout the season, we are unable to create weekly match-ups in advance.

it seems to me it would server greater prupose to make the whole schedule out so team would know whot hey are playing....yes this mgiht cause some problems wiht clans dropping but does not seem like it would cause any mroe problems than you are having right now with this syustem...anyways....when will the schedule be up since match time is in 2 days and we still have no clue who we are playing!!!...thanks

Agreed, the other twenty-seven teams wait on two teams to play each other? They have almost a full week to replay their match, so is this happening soon or do we wait two weeks for the match to end?

I understand that it's nice to know who you are going to play in advance, but it's not like your strategy or planning for the match is going to change a lot depending who you play against. Also, if they did make a full schedule then it would end up getting changed anyways due to clans dropping out etc.

Well, its a day before the matches. And the schedule still isnt up. Once again, not being hostile here. Id just like to know who Im playing 24 hours before I do. If the certain rematch isnt done by now, Im afriad those teams need to be given corporal punishment. 100 lashes sounds about right. It seems almost disrespectful to hold up the schedule like this at the expense of the rest of the league. Rematches need to be done in a timely faction.

yeah its wednesday at 3:00PM and id love to see who we play so i can get roster and strat shit situated

For those clans waiting, just plan and use the strategy you would use against the best clan in your division. Then it will work even better on clans who aren't as good as them. LOL.

but theres more to this then strategy.. finding servers.. getting them setup, deciding who does what where if they happen to have a server in timbuckfuckintoo... 7:47PM EST.. whats the deal

We probably won't be practicing any different no matter who we play, but it is nice to know at least 24 hours in advance. The matches start at 10, which is way to late. Half our clan has to work in the morning and the other half have school. How can we reschedule the time when we don't even know who we are playing until hours before?

matches start at 7pm for west coast players, 8pm for mountain, 9pm for central, 10pm for eastern.

don't think we're ignoring you guys. from now on, matches will be posted in enough time.
