also can you now not change your name to hexed characters? and if you do can the admin now kick just the number instead of the actual name?

is there an admin type panel when you host a server?

I am getting my server set up currently but it wont be ready til tomorrow unfortunately.. but I would like to know before I finish hehe.. if anybody knows fill me in

ascii characters are not allowed in TWL matches and is not allowed in the rules for matches so it is suggested that you just say no to ascii


(from the rules)

Player names: You must play on the server with the name you are registered with. For example, if you are registered as TotalCarnage and a member of Team HiFi then you should show up at |HiFi|TotalCarnage. The use of completely different names or names with ASCII text is not permitted and will result in the ineligibility of the player for the match. It is understood by TWL that some players have had to add special characters or numbers after their name to register. Please use common sense when determining who players are. Should you have a dispute please contact an admin.

no im not referring to ascii.. but last i checked a - is not an ascii.. our tag is -UDfame.. i cant even put in spaces in a name.. wtf is up with that?

you are going to limit a LOT of teams on their names if you only keep it to straight letters and like periods or whatever it allows..

just wondering.. but the ascii I dont care about since I dont use that stuff hehe..

oh, They limited the character in one of the ini files I have been use the lower case L as a bar. Only think I know of.

that would make for a shitty amount of squad tags.. everybodies names = a |UDfame or |HO| or |FWF| how gay would that be?
