If a tank shoots you into an inaccessible area, you have to leave it.

You can't have your head underwater in a flag zone.

You cheated on aberdeen and kharkov.

I don't understand what would need clarified on either rule.

He is right about this. I can speak from experience when I was with 56th and we had a match on stali. Same stuff happened. We had to replay the match even though we won. =[

Cheating

The following are NOT permitted in Battlefield 1942 gameplay while participating in a ladder match for the TWL:
- switching teams after being killed in order to observe the other team's players
- running a server-side mod without the permission from the other captain
- removing the other team's players by means of kicking or vote kicking
- changing the map
- dead players communicating with live players via the console during match play
- use of any client-side modification that enhances your aim (including aimbots but not including custom crosshairs).
- exploiting map bugs, including but not limited to going under the map and moving through or shooting from places where flaws in the textures allow you to see through walls, using the 180 view (looking down) to hide underwater while taking/holding flags, etc.
- any client side mod that changes fog distances i.e. No fog or less fog
- any client side mod that changes the skins to aid in friendly/enemy difference i.e. red/green/pink helmets

- not following any of the specific rules above (it is a great idea to be aware of all these rule and to have them at hand before starting a server and during the match)

Violation of ANY of these will result in an automatic forfeit and potentially expulsion from the TWL ladders.

Conduct, Punctuality, and Report Match Results

Players are expected to conduct themselves in match play with a professional and courteous attitude towards other players and admins at all times. Unsportsmanlike behavior consists of constant global spamming, taunting and direct insulting. Any unsportsmanlike conduct reported to the ladder admins and verified can lead to disciplinary action against said player(s) or even the team itself if severe and blatant enough to warrant such actions. Severe and gross misconduct may even lead to more severe repercussions such as dismissal from a team, ladder or TeamWarfare. Said resolutions will be at the discretion of the ladder admins as well as TeamWarfare SysAdmins.

So yea I see how ducking your head underwater is not allowed. Our bad. But your still wrong on the aberdeen building, which is what you were crying about teh most. On top of that, there is alot of sporstmanlike conduct in the rules, and since we're willing to let your misconduct slide, you might as well let the one person who ducked his head udnerwater(unknowingly) slide.

Fact is, I find it pretty messed up that because the "underdog" team took it to you guys on aberdeen you have to be so unsportsmanlike. Its disrespectful. I mean, what teh fuck, we got our shit together, we put a team together that wasnt a push over to make things a little interesting for your team(who was heavily favored to win) and thats the thanks we get? Thats not very appealing to newcommers...

Alright cool yeah. I wanna give your team respect but from the logs I have on bfrm its slightly difficult, but lets not let a few bad apples ruin the bunch. GL in finals.

I won't even talk in a match under normal circumstances, but:
1.) We had players who had to leave soon and you intentionally waste time
2.) You blatantly cheat on both maps on both sides.

No one ever uses the 5 minutes between rounds unless they are trying to piss the other team off. You made us wait between rounds, so your player could spam I have to poop. You make us switch servers between maps and don't have enough slots for our guys to load.

And your shocked by us being rude?

we did not intentionally waste time or try to piss you off. i did indeed have to poop. i was going to hold it and we were going to play right away but virus needed to do something for his kids im pretty sure. we asked for five and used about... 2 minutes tops? give us a break.

we didnt blatantly cheat. blatant implies they knew every rule. they didnt. like i said earlier, sorry we didnt read all the tourney rules for a 10 year old game.

we made you switch servers because we won and had that right plus we figured our ping would be a little in our favor and we knew how to play on our server a little better (lead, etc). we had enough for your guys to load in. 8v8 > 8+8=16 > 16 slot server. the rules DO state you must have at least 18, but once again, give us a break.

many of your players have a history of being rude, so yes we do in fact expect you to be rude. lol. we just dont like how you do it for no reason. i dont care, i think it makes it fun. ggs once again.

GG syr. They did take us on deen and props to them for that. Karkov was also fun where when we thought we had some camping about to happen all of our spawns flipped and forced us to regroup. Would have been fun if you had a match pilot on roster to see how things would have turned out on the plane maps. Apologies for the chatter during the match and thank you for allowing us to play a 42 match again.

Yes sir, I'm 12. I'm sure everyone on this forum can read your posts, and then mine, read the log from our server, and see that in fact I am the immature one. Very sound logic.

Greg pretty much summed it up. From what I understand we all loaded into OUR server in the beggining, then chose to do aberdeen first on yours, then switch to ours for Khar(because Khar was more infantry based, we would need fair pings and regs in which from what I understand a few key players on your team would have a signifigant advantage being clsoe to Chicago, doesnt really matter Dallas is THE even-stevens location and you know it, if your ego is so huge why would you want the odds stacked in your favor, I can go on all day) then back to yours for a possible 3rd. Ask MG, we always take 5, ever since I started match playing in 2004 people have always took 5, dont try to bull shit us, its also a rule we are alowed to use.

Its funny you say we were trying to stall time to screw you guys, I felt you gusy were trying to rush us to screw us. Considering the fact the first round on Khar we got tied up on the start because we were too busy bickering with you, and some others, it makes sense for me to get that impression. I'm not going to say you did try to rush us, because its our fault for not being more organized.

Again the cheating. We were not aware you couldnt duck your head udnerwater. We admit to it, and you can take whatever coarse of action you are able to take reguarding cheating. If there is a next time, we will know better. However you want to define blatant, it still proves the fact that we meant no bad intentions, otherwise we wouldnt be blatant(and on anotehr note we wouldnt have kicked known hackers off our roster). But I dont hear anyone of athority telling me you have to commit suicide or jump off the roof of the Aberdeen house if you get blown up there. Its not in teh rules. If I get my whole team on here saying it is allowed does that mean its allowed? Relax, oh Mr.Mature one, let the officials sort us out.

And thanks One for bringing some sanity into the mix. We appriciate the respect. We were jsut trying to play the best we could under the label of "underdog", and if we broke a rule in the process we will admit it because we dont want to win that way. If it is in fact not allowed for a person to be blown up ontop of the roof and stay there for flag the victory on Aberdeen will become slightly hallow. I just hope there will be a next time to play appropriately, and thsoe who couldnt get their internet or computers working to have a chance to play. GG

It happened 3 times (2 when your team is facing the opening...). I see people blown on to Aberdeen or Stalingrad roofs like once every 10 rounds and it happened 3 times to your team.

And yes, if you get blown up there by "accident", you do have to kill yourself (or on stalingrad you can parachute)

You certainly beat us on Aberdeen, and even with glitching I wouldn't feel bad about how you played.

all i know is i capped the center flag on deen a couple of times without glitching. pretty sure that must make me a badass. also, because im a point whore, i drove my tiger all the way to south one time to cap it back from someone because i was bored.

anyways, i really enjoyed the tournament and hope twl considers hosting another one. ggs to all and gl to all.

I don't care for all the drama etc... however I do not recall us glitching on the roof for the first round at all. It started on the second round and it was one time and it was not because we were shooting them up there.
Also your team did the same thing later in the round even after all the texting not to do it. And I know about it because I shot your guy up there through the roof, he was kind enough to stay alive enough to cap the flag. I tried to shoot the pole to kill him but was unsuccessful, however a teammate naded him.
So I don't understand how its right to do it if someone else is doing it? Why did you just not pause the server?

And since your giving your own opinion here is mine, I thought we rocked with whom we had and how much time we had to prepare (which was zero) regardless of the city flag. So kudos to team SYR for a good match. And thanks for letting me play one of my favorite games on my favorite map.

Pretty sure snaketits did same thing im not sure why its a big deal since you guys won anyway...Anyone who plays bf often which I do.Will know its a freak mistake that happens at least once a round on aberdeen but normally its some no-name guy who ends up staying up there trying to snipe.Im sure snaketits didnt do it on purpose and nor did I i was sitting inside the house trying to cap the flag with a sherman shell knocked me up there.Thats my case..Anywho its always fun to play with high caliber players so GG guys it was fun.

I didnt play in the match, but I can be 100% sure we werent blowing our own players up on the roof. Please dont bend truths to justify your agressive acusations, cause I'm sure by now you have calmed down a bit from last night. Ill take your guys' word for it for now, i'm sure you guys wouldnt go this far to lie, but Id still like an official ruling if Clayman would be so kind. So stop telling me what you think its just your word against mine. And I wasnt really gunna press the issue this far but one of your guys did cap a flag from the roof, so we'll just consider it even-stevens!

Oh, and Sess, as mentioned in another thread I played mainly CTF and 5v5 in BF42 up until BF2 came out, so naturally I didnt run into this issue with the glitching because it could rarely happen in CTF.

Yeah a big thanks to ALL, this was a blast, as still one of the die-hard players of 42' I really enjoyed the rounds we got to play in, I really hope they try to continue.
GGs to Dino's and good luck to both teams in the finals, can't wait to see the vid (if there is one) of that match should ROCK!!!!
