Is it me or has about 4 or 5 teams dropped off the 8v8 ladder

There were a couple of teams inactive with 3 or more consecutive forfeits that were disposed of.

Might as well drop the last 7 clans that aren't playing. Most of them don't even have 6 players. They all joined at least 3 months ago, and they haven't played a match. No reason keeping them on the ladder.

We, as you saw in match comms, are pouring our efforts into the league maps rather than focusing our attention on ladder maps. As you observed in our match, Desolation dropping the ladder isnt that big of a blow. -sess

They are too busy focusing on being the scrim champions.

Im not sure where the hostility is coming from jagzed, but im vaguely sure they're having a sale on tampons at Walgreens. Now that that problem has been taken care of, I really cant offer an explanation as to why they havent dropped the 5v5 ladder either. Maybe it's because we didnt get demolished on it, but as stated previously, I cant speak for them since im not on that team. As for Holden, id like to think they make a comeback on the ladder after the league but I wouldnt get my hopes up.

And since my PSP has a word cap on it, this post is for Laronge; scrim champs> being Canadian

We didnt drop cause we lost. Nobody even wanted to play the match except for like me lol. Its dumb to even play without pro anymore anyways. Flak in mains > flak not in mains.

I didnt realize there was hostility chong (sess)

and ibemacin, you have pilots, we have pilots, you have MG's, we have MG's, do you need flaks in main?

Most maps have flaks in mains anyways.

I would have used MGs except we had none cause they kept getting loop bombed!

space them out, put the apc on the hill, hills are god trust me if you can angle it you can shoot straight up and a loop bomber is a easy kill if you can get the apc angled.

edit: i know you know this just saying, free/cupcake whoever always get the apc to a good location to stop other teams camps on us

Honestly while the league is going on, the 8v8 ladder matches are kind of a nuisance, they take way too long, and we can never seem to get two pilots on (Rapture isn't good enough to compete against most guys, plus we lose our best tanker.) We'll probably rejoin at some point.

As for staying in 5v5, a bunch of us have always really liked the format, its a lot easier to get 5 guys on and not have to worry about getting two pilots, and it takes less time to finish.

It doesn't really have much to do with our match, at least for me, I pretty much expected to get camped to all hell on kursk.

For one 5v5 infy takes alot less resources and Des can go into a 5v5 without any practice on any map and put up a great fight. If you are talking to Sess then say sess not Des. When you say Des and more than one Des member answers dont cry about it, be more specific next time you ramble about why we may have dropped a ladder. BTW if you think it was because we lost it wasnt. We just dont want anymore challenges until we finish the league then we will rejoin ladder. If you have anymore need to talk to a des member talk to me VIA e mail we really dont need to have any drama on the forums of TWL.

I don't think Jagzed was trying to be hostile. Cookies all around as a token of peace

Considering this game is a relic, why would you need so much practice on maps that have been so overdone?

If teams continue to drop and the inactivity does not pick up after the league season on the ladder we will shut the ladder down.

I hope the ladder doesn't shut down as we will be coming back with the next 2 months. Just finishing a few things with the clan, adding a few members and just waiting for alot of members to finish there summer projects so to speak.

Yeah thanks for telling everyone there warchild. Yeah its is the same people who admin that server but saw how much CMT sucked and started there own. Also isn't AWP ex CMT the one you tryed to join and got turned down after you left revo?

I left revo cause it was a joke. When you got little kids doing nothing but complain and a leader that cant lead. Its not worth stayinf and wasting your time. Your right i wanted to join AWP for a community purpose. There a great bunch of guys, how ever as i pointed out to tres that the merger was a bad idea. But whatever you decide best of luck.

What a joke you wanted the merger to go though the first time round. As for me yeah I may be not the best leader but if I can lead a clan for over 2 years doesn't that say something? Its funny warchild for a guy that has joined how many clans in the past year?

As for my clan yeah we went though a bad patch as all clans do so complaining does happen as most of the people here at TWL knows. All Revo members are 17 or over and are not so much kids as you say. If I remember rightly you insulted Davyd and called him a no body cos I wanted him to fly instead of you for an experince gamer like youself you should be helping get new people in the the game even more so pilots.

You called half my clan no bodys and you call me a nobody and yeah we been beat by the best of them here at TWL but we've been around the leagues hear and there and won more then we've lost. So for nobodys as you say I think we've done pretty well for are selfs and are pretty much liked by most if not all here in TWL and the BF community.

Sorry to Grassy and TWL for bring clans issues to the TWL forums but had to reply to him...

Holden has me, although I'm not a big fan of being called alpha wolf pack. I'd rather wear a tag for the Super Funny Ha Ha Comedy Hour. SFHHCH, get to work on it.

Holden is a good guy and his clan is full of respectable people. Bashing another clan on these forums is pretty lame and proves nothing. Everyone started somewhere and I say all the power to Holden and his members, and good luck in competition.
