dl for no cd 1.2 patch?

Anyone know where I can get a one cd exe for the latest patch? thc

i have one that works beautifully. but it's not only a no-cd. it allows people that don't own the game to play on cracked servers. supposedly u can host cracked servers with it also, but i have no need to test that. i also played on EA servers with it, but it might have allowed me to because i have a legit copy of the game. but as for the no-cd, man it really does cut down on game load times. i would give ya the site, but it's probably prohibited here.

if someone from TWL says it's ok to post the info, i'll give a link to the forum where i found it. let me know TWL.

You exe (thank god) must match the server's. So cracked exe's will only work on cracked exe's servers. You cant use a cracked exe on a normal exe.

Me personally, I fucking HATE having a CD in my drive. Windows spins it up randomly and causes major performance loss. The devs of BF42 are clueless. Thx

well i don't know how all of this works, but i have played on EA and non cracked, regular servers off and on throughtout the afternoon. maybe it's a different type of crack?

Go there.. clone your CD's onto your HD and run them using Daemon Tools. That way your CD doesn't get loadouts and such. You may need to reinstall your game.. considering some games nowadays read what Drive letter you installed from. But anyways.. that's what i use considering my cd rom has conflicts w/ my motherboard. Ah yes.. the wonderful problems w/ building your own computer.

you dont need a new install, bf will run fine from a mounted drive after being installed from a cdrom

aight. i waited 12 hours, no response from TWL. if they don't want the info posted, i guess they will remove this post. i assume no responsibility for the downloads content. use at your own risk blah blah blah...i have scanned it, and it seems ok. i have seen no reports of it having a virus/trojan(if it does, then i have one :P )

Dude, that no-cd patch fucking OWNS. Looks like it uses some type of MOD so that it actually keeps the .exe the same size but it works great. Much .

Download the file, extract it using winrar, and then follow the directions in the .info. Its real easy, just follow the directions.

next question...how do i read the .nfo file? best way to to it is with a .nfo viewer. go to Google and run a search of ".nfo viewer". i've never used any of the ones that my search came up with, but i am sure any one of them will work.

Open .NFO with NOTEPAD. It's just a text file. But stupid Win2000 and XP think it's some sort of System file. Just use the Right Click OPEN WITH command.

NO CD = win!
