Watching a gungame match is pretty anticlimactic when you're unable to see the final knife. And then you rely on people that share a vent with the teams to figure out who won the last map and who lost.
I can understand how having a delay of 0 could cause problems with ghosting the location of the last person, but I don't think shortening it to 10-15 seconds would cause an advantage for people that ghost. Even professionals who ghost with a 0 second delay arguably don't have that much of an advantage as was seen in the thermaltake tournament.
If this were to be changed, we could change the time from when the map is won to when the map gets changed to be 15-20 seconds, and people in sourcetv would finally be able to see how the maps ended rather than seeing the server switch to the next map.
