CS: Source League Open

Historical capture recovered from the Wayback Machine · captured 2004-12-21 · 21 posts
TeamWarfare has opened the first ever Counter-Strike: Source League! Given the success of the current CS: Source ladders, it is time for the next addition. Teams may begin to sign up now and can expect the league to begin early January, 2005. The two conferences, Central and East, will be held (tentatively) on Wednesday nights at 9:30 CST/10:30 EST. We will begin assigning teams with at least 4 players on their league roster to divisions as soon as possible. Thank you for your support and best of luck!

Good job getting league started so quickly.
Awesome. I like the stability of having a set day for matches rather than dealing with ladder activity. Good job guys

the last 'rumor' was dec 16th... I don't really blame valve of all people for not releasing a deadline --- I mean HL2 was due when? 2002? rofl.
Also, no team will be assigned to a division unless they have a mininum of 4 players on their league roster.

well worth the wait huh? I mean they could have done the UBI thing and released an alpha version and patched it as they went along only to open new holes and bugs...

Couple questions... how long does a typical CS match take?

Also, why is the tentative matchtime so late? A lot of us have work and/or school the next day.
east coast plays 9:30 est...central plays 9:30 cst. 9:30 too late?
