New ladder? AA 2.5 ;)

So as some of you already know AA 2.5 Assist is back, thanks to the awesome work of some people. I was like: "WHATTTT???? Wasn't AA dead???" but i did install it anyway... and what can i say, it's all coming back to me... the good old days, enough for me wanting more, the competition...

So if there are people interested, why not going for a ladder 3x3 EU or even 4x4? I'm sure people would wanna join... Every night we see around 100 EU players. What you guys think?

Since this is like a "start" we should begin with a short map list, so ppl that never played competition get used to it you know what i mean?

In order to make this real and fun we actually need players. I see the numbers are growing however I would also suggest you guys to try to contact your old mates as many as possible - so They would know what's going on.

any1 know whos in charge of aao daily? we need a "competitive comunity website" with messages to the players out there. most of them are just pubbing all the time and didnt even heard about this ladder. I told some ppl already. twl is a good way to start. btw all ok with cdc?

Unsure about CDC you'll have to ask comp staff. But getting some articles pointed here could be cool. I can ask if our news team will write something. I miss aa

CDC was taken down when auth support stopped.

We might get it working with 2.5, will need to do some investigating.

I'm a 25 Assist staff member, we would love to see twl start up again. Both for EU and NA. Let us know if you need any help!

yeah there are and we keep getting more and more people. Some of the med guys where on tonight. I'm sure if twl showed support people might start to come back

We do not have any AA2 admins at the moment. I only have 2 admins working on the AA3 side. I can easily handle any possible issues by myself on the AA2 side (match disputes and forfeits, unless the activity goes through the roof) but if there is someone who is really interested on working with TWL and AA2 and has the motivation maybe to improve things competition wise etc, please do email me.

Some update on the CDC issue.

I have been able to get it online again but I have some issues getting it working with 2.5 (its either the game or the 2.5Assist.) I am hopefull though that we can sort these issues out. Will keep you updated.

So why the push for 2.5 assist ?

Please tell me it's not just for honor points ... ?

You can still create and join servers without auth. You can still play regular server style or TWL type matches without auth. We play 2.4 every so often without auth just fine and have a blast.

I can confirm that the issue we are having with CDC is not because of Assist but rather due to the older game version.

Okay, I posted in the developer forums, and have started talks with the creator - I don't know the source of CDC but it might be nice if we could find a way to integrate it into the assist app.

You should also be getting contacted from BiG_SerGio as he heads our anti cheat over at aao25.com.
