Okay it appears that we may get a patch today. With that comes all the fun.

#1 Instead of the normal 3 day kill, it is being extended to 5. What that means is...If you have a match scheduled today through Saturday it may be killed or rescheduled. It only takes one team to request that the match be killed, no agreement is necessary. You will need to email your ladder admin with a link to match coms if you would like the match killed. If the teams agree to reschedule the match, just work it out in match coms and email your ladder admin when you have a date set.

League matches will all be pushed back a week. If you have already played your league match for this week, dont' worry, you get next week off then.

#2 All Ladders will be updated with new rules, hopefully by the end of the day today, if I don't fall over dead. Read them carefully as there is many changes. PB, OT maps and choices and many more. League rules will get updated over time to match up closely with the ladder rules.

#3 There is a new Tourny mode, I do not believe that it will be usable for TWL matches because it is designed more for LAN use at this time, but if it is we will update you.

You can agree to do whatever you would like, need to find a server that is still on 2.0 obviously.

Terror, is this official now that the patch is, in fact, released? Is it safe to go out tonight and not get a no-show on the league or are we waiting for something else to be said before it actually is 'official'?

New rule sets are updated. May be a few changes over the next day or 2 to the ladder specific rules.

bleh @ the killing...it's being abused already..how can you kill a match due to the new patch..yet play a different match on the same night..?

I don't see that as abuse, since it's within the rules. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it either way...

well i feel killing matches is the best way to go cause it stops all the confusion. As far as i can see it's offical patch is released.

Because there are issues to be dealt with like bugs for example. Another reason is that servers have to be updated. It's also too hard to have every team reschedule, especially if a team is juggling 4+ ladders.

Last but not least, so people can enjoy a new patch with no worries. Now go d/l it!!

The servers that host CDC have to be updated to 2.1 just like everyone else. It will be updated soon.

well yes, all very valid reasons..but if a team's gonna play another twl match that night..why cant they play ours?

great, now another team wants to kill a match even though they can still schedule it for next week..this rule's just alowing teams to pansy out of matches they dont want to play, even though theyre already set with the patch :-\

With all the problems, will the 5 days be extended? IE; Label error, and disconnects like mad. First patch I have had a problem with, AND I still LOVE the the new version!

Nice attitude. While you may have a perfect setup with no ver.2.1 problems, many are, and for the first time I am having problems with the new version. Get over it, calm down, no one is going anywhere, you can challange them next week, or whenever! Its not really a big deal.
