Non Timed ladder?

Hey guys, was just wondering, would TWL accept a non Timed ladder?

10 minutes games are really cool for fast action.

But many teams like the Non Timed so they can use more detailed tactics.

It would be cool 2 have 2 ladders, the 10 minute one and the Non Timed one.

We would instate one if there was enough demand for it. Do you think there is enough demand for a No-TI, No Time ladder?
I would say yes of course.

We are part of the thecombatzone.net Non timed ladder and there is about 60 teams playing on it.

I am not a big fan of their automation system and the way you advance up the ladder compared to TWL. I know TWL very well because I used to play MW4 for a few years and I was one of the admins for the team I belong to at the time.

Well, talk to the team leaders. In a couple days, if you still think there is enough interest, I will look much further into it. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Sounds interesting but no time limit could take hours. Not critising the idea was just trying to figure out how a game would end with two players left camping at opposites sides of large map?
That is a good Point Psychdlc, It is something that happens. For us it's part of the realism. In real war, there is often a long wayting period.

The way we have done it in the past is we stop after 3 hours of play and reschedule to finish the game. This is a not a set rule in the league, but just something to make sure we don't go all night. At one point, we have a game that lasted 5 hours... and we even had to reschedule it to finish it.

Again, it depends what you want, fast or tactics. It's a personnel choice the teams have to make.

So Team Leaders, what do you all think?
Just make 2 ladders. The 10 min per game x 3 (possible) x 3 again already makes it about 2 hours for just one match. This is a gaming ladder and is currently fun with the timed battle. Sure there might be a non-timed ladder out there, but shouldnt you play on that ladder instead of recreating it here? Besides the timed ladders make sitting on your spawn butt less likely to happen on larger maps. GR just has a lot of large maps and its nice to bring weapons that arent sniper rifles now and dont have much zoom now and then. Besides, hunting and being hunted in a time based ladder makes the system more mission like. Lets say you have 10 mins to clear a forest or a landing zone for most troops, past 10 mins and no clearance means that the mission fails and will have to be redone or changed. Place a vote for it if you like, but keep this ladder as is, it makes the game much more exciting...
