Saitek. 3d usb gold. Is sweet that once or twice a month when their XP drivers actually work and I can key the mic to the stick.
Other than that it's just the standard XP drivers.

I use a saitek x45...I have to run millenium edition because of that driver crap.

Hmm i never had a joystick that last for more than 6 months . Since i started to play MW4 2 years ago, i am using my fifth joystick now (started MS3D Pro ,2 X Logitech Wingman 3D Extreme, 2 X MS Precision 2 Pro). Logitech has problem with the Torso twist (keep twisting after awhile) and MS has problem with the rapid fire button (wont fire when press). Am i too rough on my JS or just bad luck? hehe

Just to let ya'll peoples know (for those who didn't know).

Best Buy offers a 2 year warranty (return for replacement) for the MS Force Feedback 2 (one reason I use it). Not sure if they have the same for the others that they carry, but it is pretty good deal considering how rough we seem to be on these things.

Guess the companies didn't realize what they were doing when they built them, but if they would give us free copies for a month or two, am sure they could build them to survive a nuclear war.
Saitek USB 3d Gold (on XP w/o any of saitek's silly-ware), here. I went through a few MS (which I liked) and logitech (which I didn't) sticks before trying something different. I like the Saitek and it is lasting longer than the others.

I WISH I could get my speedpad to work with the joystick. That'd ROCK!

when my joystick messes up i just slam it in directions HARD, eventually it works normally again. although i snapped an old joystick like that b4
I use Saitek USB set up Lefty on XP. Had some trouble with the drivers, I just have to 'persuade' it to work sometimes.

Mouse in the right hand.
I am wishing they made a speed pad for the right, that would be sweet. I need more buttons where I can get to them fast.
MS Sidewinder Precision Pro 1 (old skool).
Saitek 3D USB Gold.
MY SHARP KEEN PIOLTING SKILLS THAT CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED BY PLAYING YEARS OF MECHWARRIOR GAMES.

ROFLMFAO@TOP_JIMI!

Was using the Logitech joysticks, which I did like alot, but they would not hold up. Am now using the MS Sidewinder precision, which I do not like as much, but I am getting used to it. I see someone mentioned that configuration that Capcom is putting together for the XBox for the Mech Assault game. 40 buttons, 2 joysticks, foot pedals, acceleration stick......man, you will need a whole desk just to put that thing on!

Usul, I never saw an X-45 before today. Now that I have, I think I'm in love. Is the X-45 as sweet to play as it was to hold in my hand? Every freakin button lay right under my fingertips. It's like it was made for me.
But the big question. Do you or are you able to play MW4 with both the left and right hand controllers at the same time?
Ranger, I used the X45's daddy, the x36 for a few weeks. Yes, you can and do use both sticks in mech. Works very nice. My problem with it was the torso twist, I didn't like having a button for it, I wanted it on the stick itself (like the regular MS's ones do). But if you can live with or learn to use the torso twist they way it is, it's a sweet setup.

Hmm. Might just give it a try. As the torso twist has always been what I've managed to break, it might just hold up longer.
