Teams

How do I join a team or how would my friend go about getting me to join his team?

He would have to create a team, join a ladder or league, give you the link to the team and the join password. You'll probably need a GUID entered of some sort before you can join the roster though. If we knew the type of game we'd be able to give more information.

its for MW2.

You simply go to the teams page:

/viewteam.asp?team=K!LLC0unt (example, not sure if this is the friends team you're trying to join or not)

You click the "JOIN" button under the roster you want to actually become a part of. Easy stuff if you know the password the founder put for you to join.
You'll need to input a GUID in your profile first though. Hover your mouse over your name in the upper left corner of the TWL page, go down to Account Maintenance, then to Profile. There you can "add another id", scroll down to the XBOX Gamer Tag (very last one), input your gamer tag and then you can join the roster.

Hope that helps.

Ok, be sure to get it cleared by your game admins. Since 2 people are sharing an IP, it is a good idea to let them know.

we dont share the same IP. he lives somewhere else. and he wanted me to go on his name to register the team cuz he was confused.

Then he better log in with his IP from now on. Constant IP sharing catches our eye, not a one time event. So far you are constant with each other.
