Asshat:
Synonymous with "jackass" or "jerk". Derived from Tribes
community. i.e. Pretty much all of Clan Darksaber.
Self-Kill:
The act of killing ones self with a binded key within
the game in order to start with full force and health.
Used strategically in capture the flag games. Hated by
those who "RPG it up" (see below).
Newbie/n00b:
This has many definitions depending on frame of reference.
It can be used as a categorization as well as an insult.
It commonly refers to an individual who has absolutely
no clue about the game and has just started playing.
Usually refers to "anyone not as skilled as you". It also has varying scope. For example, if you are in
Clan Darksaber, you consider everybody but you to be
a newbie, and often your teammates as well, depending
on the situation.
"Negged" or "To neg":
The act of giving or being given a negative score in a
team deathmatch game. Often brought up as a precursor
to insult, or a common source of nicknames. i.e. rusted
a.k.a. -45, or DSbr-Mike a.k.a. -30
Down Syndrome:
The condition of having too many chromosomes, which causes
an idividual to have stunted growth both physically as
well as mentally. Also reserved for people who do or say
idiotic retarded things more times than not, such as rusted,
HEL-Padawan, Morrison, or Viper.
Down Syndrome Rant:
A common act of going off on a passionate rant in response
to "mean internet words", or caring entirely too much about
posts on the TWL forum, and thus writing essays. A common
example would be most of FK-FallenOne's posts.
Saber Newbie:
People who play the game who think that using the saber
is the ultimate test of skill in the game, commonly use
pull and grip at all times, do not know how or refuse to
use guns, and often whine when they receive a rocket to
the face when their saber is down, which is not "honorable
jedi combat". There are too many saber newbies to cite
specific examples.
RPG or "RPG it up":
Common phrase refering to the tendancy of saber newbies
(see above) to enfold themselves in a fantasy world while
playing a first person shooter game, to the chagrin of all
normal non-nerdy people around them. They often are against
such things as self-killing (see above), and insist upon
"honorable jedi combat", and never will get laid...EVER. They
are primarily considered to be a cancer, and will most likely
all flee to Star Wars Galaxies when it comes out.
Push/Pull whore, Push/Pull n00b:
People who, when playing on certain maps (or on all maps
if you are a saber newbie (see above)), insist on doing
nothing but exhausting their force in attempting to pull
people to their death, requiring no skill whatsoever
other than in pointing the mouse in a general direction.
Rage Whore:
People who rage+speed, chase down and shoot flag carriers
or other enemies in the near vicinity, then self-kill and
promptly do the same again..and again...and again...and again.
i.e. Wonka!
Rage Cap:
Refers to capturing the flag while raged, particularly hard
on maps such as Warring Factions. Often a slap in the face
to flag defenders, and often tried for that very reason.
i.e. Superman!
Add more.. :P
