RULE CHANGE

Any CTF matches accepted after the 2nd of February will be under a new rule change. The minimum has been lowered from 5v5 to 4v4. Thank you.

how many teams have a problem finding 5 members to play a match? just one? what clan is apollo in? isnt it the same one that can never find members? kinda makes you think doesnt it.

Mike, I proposed this to the community. Not one person opposed it. Many supported it.

The fact is, most matches in JK2 aren't played, they are forfeited. This obviously means something is wrong. There are less than 20 teams on each team based ladder, which means the community is obviously dying.

Say what you want about me doing this for DSbr, but why don't you take a look at the CTF ladder and tell me if you see DSbr signed up. Less ignorance okay?

I don't ever remember doing anything to you mike. Infact I always thought we had a good rapport.

You are completely and utterly incorrect. I don't play for DSbr, that's why I didn't play in any of the matches. It doesnt' matter how many people a team has rostered, it matters how many show up. If the bulk of matches are forfeited due to no shows and lack of response to challenges, its apparent that something needs to be done.

This isn't just about DSbr. Get that outta your head.

4v4 CTF will stand as is. 5v5 can still be played if both teams have 5. You are the first person I've seen make an argument against it, and I consider yours void because you don't even play JK2 anymore, and you are saying this out of spite.

actually i do play jk2, this isnt just out of spite, its out of the principle. matches are not being played because they dont want to play their weak players so you cahnge teh rules for them. and i can garentee that im the only one who thinks this is a stupid change.

The simple fact that teams can still field 5 if they desire pretty much blows any DSbr "grassy knoll" conspiracy theories to hell. 4 is better all around anyway. Even if this had been put to a vote, it would have passed in a landslide.

You guys have to give Apollo credit he's been doing his best to improve the ladder and meet your needs. Getting upset over a slight change like 4 vs 4 being the minimum is kind of touchy, it's not like you still can't have 5 vs. 5.

Considering the size of the ladder and the size of teams these days, it is a good idea to go as low 4v4.

MoD would like 20 vs 20 rpg battles.

I will vouch for Apollo. Even though he is/was a member of DSFr, he is straight up. Unlike the rest of the crew. It's a shame really because with all of that talent they could be the best with class, instead of being the bunch of spoiled kids with skills.....
