new password

I think the password got into some pubs or something and I noticed a lot of n00bs that filled up the server causing a lot of lag. So I think we should change the password to something else like cherry. I dunno how everyone else looks at pick up matches but I see it as a time for the 1337 to get away from the n00bs and have an actual joyful game. Instead of constantly going in your head YOU STUPID N00B WHY DID YOU DO THAT! Or getting annoyed with vpad sniping.

me thinks I advertised on too many public places ... i.e planetren forums

also, for pick ups I need to bring the server size down from 48 to like 30 or 32 .. but I think the server ran well considering all. And the lag on the first map was caused by the small map (beggars run) with the huge amounts of people.

maybe we can get a list message of the email addy's
or just post the password on the Forums of the top 10 clans each week.

Ren ladder tags required. that and if someone knows you like ren clans that aren't on the ladder.....CM Kinc etc...... just boot newbies.

Actually the reason the p/u games were started at PNet by Kodiak was to bring new people to Renegades as a form of advertisement...

I agree gatr .. but thursday was a tad ridiculous with the amount of people. May we should try to arrange one more per week so we can speard the people out. If anyone is willing to run another pickup on the AFO server, please get ahold of me and let me know.

i think there should be one on sunday afternoon around 5:00 the servers are always hoping.

I understand where your coming from but don't be too hard on newbies and such unless they are tottaly retarded.

It was very un-cool that I was kicked from the pick up on thursday for no reason. I may not be tottaly l337 yet and I'm not in a tribe but I was holding my own and having a good time.

Furious, kicked? That had to be a boo-boo. I played with this guy last night from about 11:00 PM PST to 1:00 AM PST and he's one of the friendliest guys around... he's pretty dang good at capper too.

Well I have seen Commander Bob get kicked like 3 times, I'm sure we all know who he is, the azzzz in the plane shooting missiles at your melon. I dont know about this kicking stuff, nothing worse then having a great time and voila your like being voted to kick.

LAST night guy got kicked for repair enemy gens....Now that was kind of weird and then I find out two guys where at the enmey gens with him...Umm do you usually do that on dessicator, news to me.
