cs dedicated server

i heard from a friend that u can join your own d server, how is this done...?

im not that stupid, i mean, can u join ur own d server from the same machine u freak

no it says when you click dedicate server it says something like (faster gameplay but you CAN'T join it from this computer) something like that.

change your dedicated port to 27016 and join it.

Kinda defeats the purpose of it though, unless you just want to have a crappy server up 24/7 instead of just when you're playing.

I play on the same computer my dedicated server is on and it runs fine...I'm just running it until my new PC gets in and im going to be running it on a PC on itself running Linux.
