TWLHosting
Providing the servers on which the matches will be played
Information as far as IP assignment and passwords will be outlined.

We apologize for the schedule changes. These changes were in part due to pressure from sponsers to extend the event and to allow a few more days for the pending sponsers to wrap up the deals. Sometimes these things can take some time and we appreciate all the players who understand. The results will be an easier event that has a good deal of exposure, plus interest the overall prize pool.

**Some Notes**
Times
Times are fixed and based on Eastern Times. 9pm and 10pm is the best balance we can offer for the different timezones. Teams can not arrange for different times or days, unless its earlier then the assigned time, provided there is a server available. Teams are given 10 minutes to arrive. There is no leeway here. Your late, then all I can say is bad break.

Update Patch
If the anticipated patch arrives before the tournament, then all teams will need to update. If it arrives during the tournament, please stay awake and wait for a final word. Problems need to be avoided if the patch happens to be release on the night of a tournament match.

Disputes
There will be several admins on hand. Each admin will be considered "god", and their word is final. All of the admins who are available will be on voice comms with the other admins and myself, Geronimo. All decisions will be swift and final. Teams who wish to dispute will need to come to IRC server gamesnet.net, channel #twl_cod. All Tournament Admins will have their name clearly mark. Disputes can only be filed within 10 minutes of a match completion. If winning teams notice that the match has not been reported after 20 minutes please contact an admin. Information requested regarding disputes needs to be supplied immediately. Any unnecessary delays will result in the dispute being thrown out.

Cheating
Don't expect to play at TWL ever again if you fall into this catagory.

Demos
Required by ALL PLAYERS. All demos from ALL rounds will need to be submitted for review.

Rosters
Team size is 6v6. Teams however have no cap on thier roster. It is the responsibility of the team to distribute prize packages. Teams wishing to create more teams of 6v6 from within their clan is acceptable, so long as the same player does not appear on 2 different teams. Smurfing is not allowed. Caught you face the same penalties found under "Cheating". Opposing teams are responsible for checking the other teams roster. Once a match starts, disputes involving ineligible players will be thrown out.

All other details can be found in the Tournament rules.

As other information regarding prizes is finalized, we will post that here.

Teams involved in the ladders and the tournament need not worry about conflicts. If your team is still alive in the Tournament, no matches will be forfeited to your team if there happens to be a conflict in scheduling. Ethier the match will be asked to be postponed, or an admin will kill the match so that the other team is not tied up.

Teams with less then the needed 6 will be removed to make room for teams with a full roster. Those teams who have less then 6 players please get your rosters up to 6 ASAP. If all spots are taken and there are teams still trying to sign up, some teams risk being rmoved in favor of those willing to get 6 on their roster.

I have a question, if a match is on decmber 4th and both teams agree to play it on the 3rd, does that cause a problem?

Thanks
i also have a question....

"How you win: Each team plays 30 minutes on each side of the mandatory map. After playing both sides, the team with the greater total score moves onto the next level in the tournament."

How do u set it up so u play exactlly 30 minutes? i mean u may play 1 round and win in 1:26 and then another 2:56. Why isn't it just 12 rounds each side for both teams. Then, take the teams score on both sides, add it together, and most rounds won wins.

????
set scr_sd_timelimit "30" is the command to set the map to play for 30 min regardless of how long each round took to finish.
so it will keep the total rounds won for 30 mins...thats cool...thank you

prolly gonna see some high scoring games...should there be some kinda mercy rule or certain point where one team has far greater amount of points that they call it a game?
Losing team can call it at anytime they wish to stop. Just announce your forfeiting and then go report your match.

Whats up? I had a lil question. This may be a stupid question but WTH is a Bawl? I've asked numerous people what it was an not one person knows. So please tip me off on what a Bawl is. What is it a soft drink?
Its like mountain dew with about 8 times the caffine

To me it tastes like vanilla sprite.

Hmm.... available at CompUSA
I just noticed a small detail...if you have scr_sd_roundlimit (or whatever the command is for total wins before map change) in use, the scr_sd_timelimit command will not work.
set src_sd_roundlimit is off or 0 for the tournament, its not used.
This thread states that demos are required to be submitted for rounds 5 through 8:

Demos
Required by ALL PLAYERS. All demos from the Round 5-Round 8 will need to be submitted for review.

However, in another location is says demos must be submitted for every round:

http://www.teamwarfare.com/forums/showthread.asp?forumid=134&threadid=98408

Can we get this cleared up please. Thanks.

Demos are required for ALL rounds played.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention, I have made the correction.
