every time we play with 1608 like during the match it says "lilpthg someone is trying to connect with this name even though there is already this alias." and then like 5 mins later another gets kicked and it ends up kicking about 3 or 4 people. any ideas on how to fix it cause i hate rev
This rev version is pretty sketch. It will say a player is trying to join the match, but is already on the server, then say their data is cleared. 5 minutes later they will be kicked. This eventually goes down through everybody. Anybody know why?
sounds like the glitch from the old version where it will kick one person for not being verified then eventually kick everyone. This was because of a trasfer of data problem between the person hosting MW and the people connecting. Try someone different hosting.
with our recent experience it seems that everytime a process would come up on someone it would say clearing player's data and then it kicks them... happened everytime... i have no ideas to fix it but i am going to have some conversations shortly with the head hanchos and i'll let ya know if i find something.
yeah, it seems it has something to do with processes starting... kinda annoying though getting kicked when you're clutch against 2 or 3 ppl, then you have to restart rev which takes at least 15 mins for me
Yeah it's definately processes openning that is causing the problems and the actf has said that since day one. However, BlackBart does not seem to care about this matter. We have tried everything in our power to get a new version out quicker but all attempts have been thwarted. He is finally working on a newer version but no word on whether the process problem has been resolved. To counteract this problem i highly recommend to all players to run a full spyware/adware check on their computer, manually shut down all programs that are running on your computer that are not neededk, and then use shutdown processes option inside of reverend. That should solve most problems but as we all know computers will start up programs by themselves sometimes...
