Seems to be a WALL HACK out,

Well it has come to the attention of |Gx| that there is a team or two that has managed to get there hands on a wall hack and they are using it. You will know if they are using it if you observe a player facing a wall at a corner or at a door opening for no reason. Almost like they are AFK. They will jump around the corner or into the door opening and start shooting.

Just thought I would give you guys a heads up. Be on the watch out for this. This is the kind of thing that will ruin this game.

Well That's lame, but don't think everyone hiding behind walls or doors is wall hacking. Some people actually listen for footsteps.

Its been out for quite some time...there are a variety of them now. Some teams are being observed for its use as well. If they are caught, and eventually they will be...they will be banned from the ladder and most likely TWL.

Yeah i know our Clan [IO] has observed some wallhackers, as well as myself, and not just reg peeps, clan peeps too

I thank you carnage for observing our match against jumbo shrimp coming up. Please make all people meet at a point to shoot.

I think a patch will be needed to stop it. And yep, I've suspected SEVERAL peeps using it myself, but its so hard to prove. TC, you are willign to spectate matches if requested?

Yes, just remember I won't be able to meet every request though.

super, so now me and my clan will be accused of using a wallhack as well as the aimbot we always get accused of having. of course, no one has ever shown me a link where one can ACTUALLY download an aimbot for MOH. At least i've seen pics of a wallhack now. with the FOV 90 crap in this game, i find myself looking around a lot, sweeping, etc. so i'm sure about 50% of the time or more it looks like i'm "looking through walls" as i'm looking around. like someone said earlier, listening is key, and sometimes i'll look at an area where i hear sound and sigh...

most people call ece/bty/js/1fj members cheaters because they can't accept the fact that people are going to be better than them. i've accepted that fact, hence why i don't cry cheater when i run into someone better than me.

Maher, I've watched many a match and none have stemmed around cheating. I do so randomly from time to time and when asked to do so by another team. Most of the time its a very boring experience for me. Sometimes its fun watching a great match. I wouldn't read to much into it.

There's a problem with catching a wallhacker or aimbot user. Unless your right beside them at their comp, you can only assume they are using one based on how they act during a match.

IMO, its very tough to kick people from the league for this reason. Even watching a wallhacker, the person wallhacking can act as though he doesnt see anything.

Aimbot is another story, im sure those are easier to detect just by watching people.

Sad fact about all this is, is now that it is announced on these forums to be true, by everyone here, there will be more people crying "cheater" when they lose. Lets face it some people are just sore losers, and will blame anything outside of themselves for their loss. This can only get worse before it gets better.

I agree with you Lonestar. Even sadder is that some people will be looking to download this cheat now that's it's quasi public knowlege. It seems as tho another game will be ruined by people who feel that have to win at all costs. Whatever happened to fun?

oh, wasn't putting the two together TC, just wanted to point out that 75% of the time the cheating hysteria causes more issues than actual cheats do. and in this case, it's probably more like 90%. if you could shoot through walls, i could see a wallhack being an issue in this game, and sure, in a pub i could see it being an issue, but for the most part these maps all have triggers (water sounds, doors opening etc etc) where you hear people coming a mile away, so let em hack, if they suck so bad that they have to cheat, it means their aim sucks and if they get the first shot off on me because of their wallhack, it's probably going to miss wide of the target

I just want to have fun and not have to listen to my wife for an hour.....JK....


Come on nobody is cheating, If you are you suck....I would but that 95% of us, will not and will never cheat......so to you 5%, get better so you don't have to cheat......

Ya we just had someone post on our board about a clan called |=PhatPipe=| cheaters, they even referred TWL in their post. But yes cheaters are pretty...well uhh stupid. What kind of sore loser or player needs to see through walls, and who needs help with their aim? Unless you are physically handicap and you can baarely move your arms. I don't see an excuse to needing a wallhack or aimbot. If you do use them go back to playing CS. This is a real man/woman's game let us have a game with our fun!

I noticed that no one reported their loss on the PhatPipe and WoD match, it still says the match time and date nothing about loss or win. Unless it was never updated.
