PunksBusted Streaming Required for COD2 Ladders

As if the headline didn't say it all: If you play on the Call of Duty 2 (CoD2) ladders, your match servers are required to stream to PunksBusted. The deadline for streaming is August 8th, 2007. For more information, contact the CoD2 staff.

A really great guide to PsB streaming (and I'm not just saying that because he works here) was written by Handsom3, and can be found here.

COD2 is almost dead.. Don't see a reason to find more stop signs even though their are a bunch of hackers in this community. They will eventually find ways to get past like they did every other thing. But MOH: Airborne comes out in a month =] yay!

yep Great Idea our match Server Done. 81.19.209.16:28961
Been streaming our servers for over a year now, but glad to see the requirement is finally there.
Yes good idea glad it has finally been implemented. All of our servers are streaming. Question how are we supposed to find out if a clan's server is streaming or not? To know if it is legal to play in?
http://www.punksbusted.com

Go there and on left it says

Check whether a server is streaming:

Put there server ip in there and click check

All 3 of our servers stream to punksbusted and pbbans

Thanks Dazza, I just completely forgot earlier when i posted had a long night. But thanks.
I thought servers were supposed to be streaming back in april? either way, ours is.

Personally I think all leagues and ladders should have this requirement.

Team ?WHO?

We have been streaming for over a year now but im convinced Hackers can get round it, As they are in ED ladders!! But every little helps!
Make sure to keep the MBL up to date as well!! There was a banned player (wallhack) who didn't get kicked because ours wasn't up to date. Luckily TWL already banned him so it was easy to spot.
Although a good idea, the timing could not have been worse. There has been an exponetial increase of problem reports concering PB issues during the last week after their latest update. We've had our hands trying to help with the manual PB updates that so many now require. Also the deadline appears tight given the 72 hours turn around after admin application, then getting the streaming setup and finally waiting another 24 hours for validation. I would not be surprised to see a significant reduction in the number of active COD2 teams because of the work associated with this new requirement.

Streaming since vcod!
yea we've been streaming for a while now too. most leagues/ladders are starting to make it an requirement
It doesn't make a lot of sence to require it allthough I am an active MBLC. It saves us the time of checking guids against the MBL and MBI but I still do that anyway. Is the next step to require a PB Demo for review instead of the traditional .dm3?
Whatever it takes to catch the cheaters.

Man I am still wet about this one. Last week we got to play on our servers the whole match. Looks the same this week.

When will they wake up.
wat does streaming the server actually do?

It checks the people in the server against a Master Ban List (MBL), and if their GUID matches, it bans them from that server automatically. It also allows you to submit screenshots to PsB for people to vote on whenever you have a cheater. If he's caught, he won't only be banned on your server, he'll be banned on all PsB streaming servers.
