before you get mad at me of being "off topic" i just figured i'd go on what was proposed in the pro&cons of BT thread.
ok, Ice Cream vs Cake.
i am not a huge ice cream man, though i do enjoy it. homemade ice cream is different. NO ONE can turn that stuff down.
cakes, it depends on who makes it, the cake-y part i like really moist, i prefer lemon cake (what my mom makes for my b-days ) as far as icing goes, that's the big kicker. cake without icing is just like some defunct bread.
the shape of the cake is important. square-pan cakes aren't very good. they can serve more people, but middle pieces only have icing on top... THAT'S IT!, so you have to make sure to get an edge, or even better, a corner.
round cakes are great, esp double layered. you can shove icing between the layers, as well as put icing on top and all over the sides. this gives the "cake" enough coushin with icing to keep the cake moist, and if not... the icing can make up for it. a lemon cake with lemon frosting... just no dark colors (black, deep red/blue don't taste right, no matter what you say about colors not having taste... TRUST ME, i know this, they aren't the same).
what do YOU prefer?

You Don't Spit Into The Wind

And You Don't Mess Around With GRIN
