my ping is 100 when i join then like a few minutes later it goes to 2000.Anyone know how to fix this

You're not playing on one of the myriad DSL hosted servers are you? Try your ping on REV or the =ZM= ctf servers. I don't really think it'd only spike for one client. But "vgrd".
