Wow T1 clans are becomming really picky..

So far ive tried out for 2 clans..Made it into one with being kicked within a week. WTF..I don't think I suck that far.. I would love to know why the hell some clans are just being dumb. Yea I know I've always been an asshole of Tribes..But come on..I've got some damn'd skill. Take .|2ee for instance...I tried out for them..Pulled out a decent showing on CCDLT (8-1 was final score and I had 3 caps.) Now so I'm going to practice with them, I get in there I'm doing okay..Capping the hell out of there defense (BTW on raindance all you have to do is llama them to get a cap.) And I get a responce - Sorry man. we have a couple guys on our roster that didn't approve you. I thought you did good. But, I can't lose 3 players for 1.

Now I'm no fucking rocket scientist but when I can get 4 caps on there defense in one map..Hell I must be doing something right..So next thought in my mind is.."It must be personal.." And holy shit it is....

Come on guys..I know I've been an asshole but I've got some skill..

The moral of the story is recruit me..I actually play alot and have some skill..I may be a bit cocky but who the hell isn't..Take JM5k..Enough said.

hahah i love your names for people, they are quite commical. anyway, if you were really that good you could get into anything. there are alot of assholes in trines recruited because they were good despite the assholeness

I'm bored, just got off work, so here's some scenario's for the learned.

1. You're an asshole Tribes player, who is decent at Tribes, and can get in to some Tribes. Play some good games and still be the only prick on the team.

2. You suck at Tribes, and still an asshole. So you can't get into shit, so you troll the forums boasting how good you were, and that you've been greatly injusticed (fucked).

3. You suck at Tribes, but you're a nice guy(or girl, whatever) and some decent Tribe takes you, you have some fun playing once and a while, maybe get better and move on.

4. You're an asshole, again. So the only way to survive is to join with other assholes who are decent 4th generation Tribes players, who can 200fps, 40 ping, interpolate you're ass and make hamburger, on shit routes that have been known for years, and you get into the top ten.

5. You were a murmur to the Tribes world, played for some Tribe that no one can remember the name of, next to never been in a game that was considered big(In Tribes standards, pfft). Then you join a team, do some flag capping on a map, llama cap on some LD, probably taunt like a fat kid on the only swing, and scream bloody murder when you get booted. So you take you're frustrations to a gaming ladder's forums, and vent you're anger, however stupid it may seem to do so.

Off the top of my head, enjoy. And feel free to add more, for all I care, damnit.

Trying out is trying out. It happens when you try to join a "group" of people you've never played for, because nobody really knows much about you. And even top teams still try people out, but in that situation, you may be familiar as it being called "scrimming with the team".
