After hearing about the ladder being taken off of twl I had a questions. Why was it taken off? The way I see it is there can't be to much work involved from the twl side, I dont see why the 5-10 teams or however many there were left cant do it here. Again, I had 420, and Mobsters what clan did I make after mobsters lost? NONE asshole because you obviously didnt look at the ladder we remained on there. (and 420 was killed because I lost key members)
Therefore we dont care about losses. We just have fun playing.

Wow..... I haven't been here for quite awhile, but judging from the lack of common sense and common courtesy, I guess alot has changed since I posted here. Every other post is garbled obscenities - not an intelligent method of getting anyone to listen to what you have to say.
It's a shame about T1 competition. I love this game. IMHO, it is the best game ever launched. The fact that we are still here posting 8 years later attests to the loyal following that Tribes has created. I've tried many other games, but none come close to T1.
As far as organized competition, I would love to see it. Unfortunately, I know what the admins here are experiencing. Having run the Tribes ladder for "another organization" , I too went through this dilema. I love the game, wanted more than anything to see the ladders stay and progress, but when the top 10 teams went over a month without competing in a single match, what was the point? I had to shut the ladder down.
It is almost no work on the part of the admin to keep the ladder open, but it is immense frustration to have an open ladder that has no competition. There are rules in any competitive league/organization, and one of them is that the ladder exists for the purpose of competition, not to occupy space on a website.
Hellraiser just held a T1 Team Rabbit tourny that was a success. Perhaps, as an alternative, you can ask the TWL admins to hold a tourny from time to time, with a draft, etc. I don't see any other alternative right now. It is VERY sad to me to see the ladders die in Tribes, but unless there is a pronounced revival of an eight year old game, I personally see no alternative.

caco, i founded PE, who was ranked 1st on the ladder for a bit, 2nd and 3rd whent here was actually competition. and BAM who was 2nd behind masters for a bit. So yes ive played on the ladder, and i dont really care what u have to say to me.
