Tribes + Windows Vista

anyone get it to work? It loads for me, but in a window and the mouse doesn't seem to work. I'm not able to select anything. I've tried running it in XP mode, still no dice.

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AND IT SAID TRIBES NEEDS TO BE CONNECTED TO YOUR ISP AND MY COMPUTER IS CONNECTED

Yea i had to set up a dual boot system with XP, I get the same mouse problem with Vista. If you have an extra hard drive laying around I would recommend this.

Something I found out is that if you open the game, and move the mouse down and to the right into the game window, you can click the buttons. The tricky part is guessing where your mouse cursor is, and if you're really patient, you can make your way into options, and I suppose even into the game.

If the cursor leaves the game window, it's game over; you can't interact with it anymore.

I tried switching the game into Fullscreen mode. It didn't do anything. Any ideas anyone out there?

So I successfully joined a game using the same ideas as I posted above. It seems to go into windowed software mode, but I can still play the game. Once I join it _technically_ is playable, but it's not exactly pretty

you dont even need another harddrive, just create a 2nd partition on your current one and install windows xp to it.
