Looks like we're up to 14 teams now (although I'm not sure wtf that OMG..... clan is all about), how long before we give this sucka the green light and post a rule set?

/me is so antsy and wants the DC League to start asap!!!

Let's get this going...other teams can join up after it's up and running if they insist on dragging their feet right now.

Squad Info

This is a 10 v 10 ladder, each squad is to fill a minimum of 8 positions and a maximum of 10 positions. If a squad is unable to meet this requirement, the offending squad must either forfeit or re-schedule the match at a later date with cooperation from the opposing squad captain. If neither team is able to fill 8 positions at the start of the match, the match will be nullified unless both squads choose to play the match with less than the number of required players. If either team is able to field 10 players and the opposing team can only field 8 then the match will be played with uneven numbers unless the teams agree to even the numbers.

Looks like my post above did some good, I got a few more responses (thank-you!!) so I'm going to bump this one more time to make sure it gets noticed and acted upon.. I'll extend the deadline by 24 hours until this Friday but after that I'm going to set to work on compiling the votes and presenting you with the results. The League rules are drafted and currently undergoing peer evaluation, so we are pretty close to going live with this..

dude - you can't ask people to make a 6:00pm match. alot of people play dc on the west coast - 6 is too early.

9:30 is good. alot of west coast people get screwed by not being dialed/calibrated when the game starts having just got home. any later than 9:30est is too late.

hay every one I am looking into signing up a clan the >]DR]=>
we have 8 members now and I have been reading up on the forms just wording what night you decide on and that it is 10 on 10, now we are a dod clan and there are a bunch of us who are playing dc and would like to get involved in a league if you know of any good sites on desert combat tweaking and or if you have a mirc channel that I can idle in and talk to ya or of a good servers to play on that you guys play on. But I hop to se ya around

yeah - it actually does make a HUGE difference. alot of people get in the door at around 6 - having 20-30 minutes to warm up makes a big difference - plus alot of teams are going over last minute stuff. the guys on the west coast who just rolled in the door at 5:52 and are stuffing their face with some food and listenning to directions or warming up need that extra time. some guys don't even get off work til 6. i know plenty of people in this boat.

sunday means school the next day, and it IS the "day of rest", so most of the working guys who cant make it home on a weekday will be home anyway. if its sunday, i say we go with 9 est.
