Lasthope Arena : Official...

Thats right for all you arena junkies out there. No more trying to run the lasthope patch and hoping it works.

Andrew has incorporated the lasthope into the arena 4.1 release, and I believe hes added his Logging code to have better ip logs for this. Will be testing the next few days, but it will be released on the site as well.

Not really an arena fan myself, but who knows, could be fun now with lasthope ???

The Lair will be running it asap along with all serverside maps so you wont have to download anything. For those of you running zadmin, this does NOT work with zadmin mod. Andrew will prol NEVER recode arena to work with zadmin, which is a shame ... But for those base servers, its all good. Again, this is a notice to those that play arena, or may want to play.

No one said he made arena, I said "ANDREW INCORPORATED LASTHOPE INTO THE ARENA 4.1 RELEASE." I believe he did add some code to it, i.e. the logging features he did, but that should be it. Need to test it still, and will prol do that this weekend, for a sat/sunday release on the site.

Personally, I hate how arena is coded. Seems very cluttery and junked up. Which there were seperate scripts for the admin stuff and it all voled up too, but alas, we take what we have.

For the zadmin servers, sorry... I will try to release a easy arena build you can easily upload to the servers and rename 2 folders to get arena working, but that will run about 70-90 megs. Basically it would be a different base/config folder.

Anyways, thats it. More to come shortly

arena has had lasthope before, about 50% played on it.

lasthope should be manditory for matches when it comes back.

Try 30 % played on it. More played on DD's because his never went down. That's when DG's server was up
