I hope that everyone has had an excellent holiday and a happy new year! I wish everyone best of luck in the new 2011 year and may everyone have a wonderful new beginning.
As some of you know, amnesty period will be coming to an end. TWL has made some changes to CS:S Staffing for the new year. I have taken the role of Competition Manager for CS:S Ladders, accompanied by our lead admin Sir_die. Over the next few weeks, we will be evaluating our current ladders, and developing new ideas on how to make TWL competition better. We will be addressing certain issues such as inactive staff, long dispute turnaround times, and the overall ladder activities. I feel it is IMPORTANT to involve the community in these discussions and will be holding a PUBLIC admin meeting in late January. More details for this will follow and will also be posted by our news department. Please actively check the ladder public forums and the news section of TWL for updates. I hope that everyone who is available will be able to attend to either express their gripes or ideas specific to the ladders and/or it's rules. I will make every effort as the manager to listen to the community and do whats best for the gaming community and the TWL organization. I have an open door policy and ENCOURAGE any players to e-mail me with questions or concerns on the overall operations of this game. My email is Juvix@teamwarfare.com. Alternately, my lead admin Sir_Die@teamwarfare.com and ladder staff are always available to answer questions.
We are also looking for volunteers that are willing to become part of TWL CS:S Ladder staff. A position posting will be advertised on the website in the next few days.

Good afternoon,
Just as a reminder to all, CS:S will be holding it's first public admin meeting for CS:S Ladders. This is open to anyone in the community and will take place on TWL vent. The vent information can be found in the CS:S ladder forums (posted by shdwpuppet), or in the news article that was posted for this event. We are planning on listening to the ideas, suggestions, and complaints the community has to offer. As promised a few weeks ago, I have completed a revamp of my staffing and have brought aboard new qualified staff. We plan on opening a new ladder and tournament for in between league play. Whether it's soccer you want, promod, or any other newer mods being released, let us know and we will consider trying it out!

Good morning all!
After our recent admin meeting on this past Monday, our staff have discussed and tested the current stable version of Zblock 4.5 released on October 4, 2010 and have declared it usable with eventscripts and gungame matching.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATLEY, ALL SERVERS USED FOR BOTH REG AND GUNGAME PLAY MUST HAVE ZBLOCK 4.5 ENABLED AND WORKING. This means all TWL CS:S matches will need to have zblock enabled.
I will allow a grace period until February 1, 2011 for all gungame servers to be updated with the new zblock without penalty. After this date, penalties will be given for invalid server. If you have any issues with zblock, please report it to a member of my staff.

Good morning Gamers,
We are sad to announce that Reverse Gungame ladder has been closed down due to not enough interest.
We are however, replacing this ladder with Random Gun Game (Turbo)! This seemed to have sparked a lot of interest in our last public admin meeting. The rules will be the same as gungame however the gameplay will include random weapons.
This ladder is open for signups and active immediately.
